Review of Zinkwazi Beach

Zinkwazi Beach
Reviewed August 21, 2014

Zinkwazi is a gem on the north (or Dolphin) coast above Durban. Almost unchanged in decades, we spent 5 days at the Zinkwazi Beach House (google it - the most amazing place!) and we had much of the beach to ourselves. It's a beautiful, wild stretch of the Indian Ocean with scarcely any "facilities" - which is what makes it so remarkable. Love it and will be back as soon as I can. If you want things to do or shops, Ballito and Umhlanga Rocks are a short drive, and Durban itself is just an hour away.

We recently visited friends now living here and wow! Was so impressed with how rural and unspoilt everything was.if you are looking for peace and quiet along with beautiful surroundings, you will find it here
