The propery is located in a quiet village but only a short ride to the local town where you can pick up most things you made need,The house is old and keeps a lot of its original features but is fitted with all modern bathrooms and bedrooms which where clean and very comfortable.Steve and Cathy were brilliant hosts and went beyond what I would normally expect .

“Fantastic”
Reviewed June 29, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

What a great place to stay. Steve and Cathy couldn't have done more for us during our visit. From a warm welcome to a fond farewell we were treated as friends not guest's. The Farmhouse was spotlessly clean and tidy with lots of secure dry parking for our bikes, the food was great and I am sure we all put on a few pounds during our stay. The Farmhouse is well situated. A great place to use as a base for visiting the local area whilst riding some great roads. We will be back to visit again and I would not hesitate to recommend the accommodation and its owners to other travellers.

“A truly beautiful area of France with accommodation to match.”
Reviewed June 29, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Catherine and Stephen were the perfect hosts. We stayed with them on a half board basis over four days while we explored the area on motorcycles. As a group of seven riders, finding accommodation to take us all with luggage and motorbikes can be difficult sometimes. On arrival we were greeted with covered storage for our trusty steeds and a glass of wine to ease away the aches and pains. Returning each day we were treated to a sumptuous meal every evening, freshly prepared and cooked in one of the two kitchens. All the bedrooms were cosy and in keeping with the character of the property. We couldn't,t have asked for a better place to stay, very highly recommended.

“A great place to chill out with good friends, good food and good wine.”
Reviewed June 29, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

I was one of seven slightly mature motorcyclists who spent a week enjoying the quiet French roads and fantastic hospitality of Cathy and Steve in their lovely home. It is more than a walk away from the nearest town but we never felt the need to be anywhere else for the evening. It is a great place to relax after a day in the saddle. I would recommend a trip to Lourdes, if God did Disney it would be like this. A fascinating mixture with the magnificent church, an old fort and some of the tackiest souvenirs you will ever see. who could fail to be moved by the plastic statuette of the Holy Virgin, furnished with a removable head to allow it to be filled with holy water? Those who can afford a larger investment towards their stairway to heaven can have the statue life sized and a six foot candle to go with it! A great day out can be had with a trip into the Pyrenees, following the route of the Tour de France, much easier when you have 100 horse power to get you to the top.All in all a great week made better by our hosts and the lovely location.

“Lovely place, lovely people”
Reviewed June 29, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

I stayed here with a group of motorcycling friends while we explored the area. This is in a small hamlet a mile or two from a town ( with a supermarket, fuel, etc) and is in a lovely area of the lower Pyrenees, it feels green and rolling although is close to the mountains. We found Steve and Cath to be lovely and welcoming, providing advice and help at times and Max ( the dog ) always gave us a lovely rousing welcome as we arrived back.
The house is lovely, lots of bedrooms, bathrooms and it feels spacious but with plenty of character. There is a large covered area in which to store motorbikes and the gates are secure. The food was great, we enjoyed eating at the large table on the porch in the afternoon sunshine with a large glass of local wine.

“A beautiful place to stay.”
Reviewed June 28, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Biked 600+ miles with 6 friends through France to get to here and it was well worth it. It is in a beautifully remote location but there is an Intermarche nearby for the evening tipple. It is a brilliant mix of old character with modern facilities. Stephen & Catharine were excellent hosts and nothing seemed like too much trouble. My room was spot on and the facilities were excellent. If you want to go out at night you will have to travel but when you're in such an idyllic setting with a glass in one hand and nibbles in another why travel?
The nearby scenery is brilliant but we went further afield towards the Pyrenees and that was breath-taking. Being a cyclist it was good to go over some of the Tour de France cols.
This area is ideal for both cyclists and for the motor-biker. During our stay it rained for a day but Lourdes is only a few kilometres away and even for the non Christians amongst us it is worth a visit. We also visited a local market for provisions. Proper fruit & veg, knobbly bits & all. No doubt there's loads more to explore and if we'd had more time we would've done. Well worth a visit.

“A beautiful place with wonderful hosts...”

This is an ideal place to stay for a comfortable relaxing holiday with friendly, attentive hosts. It is easily accessible from both Toulouse (90 minutes) and Lourdes/Tarbes airport s (35 minutes). The rooms are beautiful and spacious and have a genuine French farmhouse character but with excellent up-to-date facilities. There are lovely mature gardens with shady trees and sun-traps alike. It is perfect for travelling around Le Gers and the Haute Pyrenees and is close to the town of Trie sur Baise which has a Tuesday market and all the amenities you would want - but situated in a peaceful village about 10 minutes drive away. It is an ideal all year round location as summer pursuits and winter skiing are easily accessible. There is a wood-burner in a cosy lounge for cooler evenings. English television is available although we didn't need to use it as we were blessed with fine weather and spent each evening enjoying the odd glass of wine or two outdoors. Our hosts were exceptionally accommodating ....what more could one ask?!!
