I've kayaked lots of places, but kayaking along the Able Tasman coastline ranks among my best paddles ever. Kahu Kayaks provided us with good gear, gave us the safety talk and sent us on our way to paddle from Mahahau to Observation Beach. We stopped on Adele Island too. Winds were strong, water was choppy but we paddled hard and prevailed. Then hiked the 8km back to Marahau through the beautiful verdant fern forest. If you do choose to hike back, pack real shoes in your dry bag. What a great day!

It was a great day in Abel Tasman. We're going to Kayu kayaks, the sun is shining, we becomes the life jackets and then is going out with the water taxi on the beach. The ride on the boat was fantastic, we see puppy seals, then we comes to bark Bay, the weather is changing, it begins to rain. Up, on the water, with the excellent guide. we're kayaking the tour through the bays. Finally it gives a coffee and then we walking the wonderful track to Anchorage Bay.over the swinging tall bridge. We maked a lot of good photos. Finally we're going back with the water taxi to marahau. Thank you very much for a wonderful day at the team from kayu kayak and specially on the guide.

My partner was taken out yesterday with a great, knowledgeable guide. He was the only on the tour and yet they didn’t cancel the trip. I really appreciate this customer service. They also accommodated my baby and I by taking us by water taxi to a meeting point. Good equipment and suitable life jackets for all age babies. Boat driver was awesome too. Lovely staff all round

We were two couples travelling together and the Kahu Kayaks team created a special tour for us which they called the swingers delight!

We started with a walk along the coastal path and spent the night at Bark Bay hut which we had booked independently.

In the morning we were met by our tour guide Harvey who took us on a fabulous half day tour in two double kayaks.

We visited the swing bridge lagoon behind Sandfly Bay which was just packed with wildlife. Harvey was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of insight into what we were saying. Then we paddled out through the surf and visited a little island on which there were basking seals and even a pup!

When we paddled back to Anchorage into a stiff headwind he stopped again and picked green lip mussels for us to take home and once on the beach the man achieved his 100% quality rating from us by brewing fresh coffee and steamed and foamed milk. Latte!

We really did not expect such amazing service and the price was very reasonable as well.
Recommend.

We had a perfect day trip with the Team from kahu kayaks (Andy and his team). They showed us so wonderful places and told us much about flora and fauna. Very good value for money! Thanks again!
