“Wonderful!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2012

My wife and I chose to stay at Cap Maison while on our Honeymoon. It was a fantastic decision. The place is beyond beautiful and the service is extraordinary. We felt pampered every step of the way. We were a little bit torn when trying to chose a resort, and eventually chose the Cap Maison because of the photos on its website but to be honest, even though they are beautiful they do not do it justice. It is absolutely stunning.

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2012

My husband and I stayed at Cap Maison from August 18th to August 22nd. We arrived at the picturesque resort and were greeted with a cool towel and glass of champagne. We were then given a quick tour and shown to our Oceanview Villa Suite with Pool and Roof Terrace. The villa and views surpassed all expectations. The villa smelled of lemons, was very spacious and just all around lovely. We had two balconies off of our bedroom. We also had one large balcony off our living area and dining room. Our kitchen was large and well stocked with everything we could have needed, including dining ware, silverware, glasses, cookware, bottle opener, and every kind of utensil we could have needed. The refrigerator was big, had an ice maker and filtered water dispenser, and was stocked with liquors, wine, champagne, water, sodas, and cream for coffee. They was also complementary coffee. We stopped at a supermarket for champagne and snacks before arriving at the resort and there was plenty of room in the fridge for our purchases. Our bedroom was air conditioned, had a lovely, spacious bathroom attached, and had great views. There was a half-bath in the hallway. Our rooftop terrace was huge and had the most stunning views of the sea. The pool on our terrace was very big and had a bench built in, so we could just sit there, relax and enjoy the pool all day! The terrace also had a small refrigerator, which we utilized with small bottles of water and a bottle of wine here and there for easy access while we were up on the terrace. There were also some cool towels and bottled water in there when we arrived… a nice touch.
Our first night at the resort we dined at The Cliff restaurant. They were offering a Tapas menu, with an option for wine pairing. The meal was divine! There was live music with a guitar player and singer. The music made for a relaxing atmosphere and they were both very talented. We had a few drinks at the bar in the restaurant after our meal. The bartender Chris was friendly and made the best tasting mojitos and rum punch either of us had ever had! Breakfast at the resort was wonderful whether we ate the Cliff or ordered room service. There were more options if you actually went to the restaurant, though. The second night we asked for a full a la carte menu for dinner, so we were able to eat what they were serving at the restaurant whilst getting room service. Our server, Keegan, gave us full dinner service, including amuse-bouche, frappe between appetizer and main course, and dessert… all on our balcony! This level of service blew us away! Our food was so delicious. The duck confit was one of the best things either of us has ever tasted. Keegan was an amazing server and was so friendly. The third night we opted to do the same thing and it was equally as lovely. The fourth night we ordered from the regular room service menu and it was also very good food. I recommend the seafood chowder, salt fish fritters, and mini burgers. We got the all-inclusive plan (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), which included a $75 a day beverage credit, and were glad we did.
The beach was beautiful, although the stairs leading to the beach are numerous and a little treacherous.
Having been to another resort in St. Lucia just prior to our arrival at Cap Maison, I was pleasantly surprised that there weren’t nearly as many mosquitos here than the resort we were at just the day before. We only ended up we a couple of bites each here, when we had at least fifty each (no exaggeration) at the other resort. We were outdoors all of the time unless we were sleeping or showering, so this was a nice change.
We also enjoyed watching the birds all around our villa, as there are many birds at Cap Maison.
Sleep quality was great, as our room was cool, our bed very comfortable, and the sound of the surf, calming.
Housekeeping was excellent…they came twice a day, once early in the day, and then again early evening for turn-down service. Each night, they left a little romantic saying printed on a small card on our night stand. I loved this and thought it was very sweet. My husband and I saved each one and brought them home.
Cap Maison was, by far, the best resort I have ever been to. The service was impeccable, the food some of the most delicious I have ever tasted, and the views simply breathtaking. We want to return again in the winter for my husband’s birthday and I can’t wait to go back!

Thank you very much for writing your review following your stay with us and I was delighted that you enjoyed your vacation spent with us and both Chris and Keegan were very pleased to read your comments and Chris is now boasting that he is King of the Mojitos! Thanks for choosing Cap Maison for your vacation and we hope welcome you both back in the near future.

Spent our 25th Anniversary at Cap Maison and I have nothing but great things to say about it. First, St. Lucia is truly one of the most beautiful places I have visited. The views from our room (#3) were spectacular and the rooftop pool was such a bonus! I felt so spoiled!! Our accommodations were expansive with a full kitchen and even a washer and dryer. We ate most nights at the Cliff~delicious food with unsurpassed views. We did go into Rodney Bay for a few dinners for a change of pace. Many good options-we went to Fire Grill and Jacques. Both meals were quite good! We scheduled a day sailing trip down to the Pitons and it was definitely worth it! The people at the front desk are more than willing to help you do whatever you wish to do! We also did the Sunset Cruise on Cap Maison's yacht. It was a beautiful evening~we would have scheduled another if availability had permitted in our time there. The whole time we were there, we joked about not having anything to complain about! Really, we felt like we were the only people there. It was the perfect destination for us to celebrate our anniversary and we will definitely return! I will say that if you are prone to motion sickness, you might want to pop a Dramamine before you make the trip up the island. I asked our driver to let me sit in the front seat of the car and that solved my problem! A small problem for a glorious week! Truly it was perfect for us!

Spent 5 fantastic days at Cap Maison and loved the experience. The view was amazing and the service is phenomenal. My boyfriend did a great job picking out the location and we couldn't help ourselves but always complement on the service and how perfect everything was. We quickly adopted Charlie as our driver and felt very pleased by his great time management and friendliness. We would recommend this resort to anyone.

Absolutely amazing place! Accommodations are thoughtful and very comfortable. Restaurant in the resort just magnificent! Service, menu, quality and freshness of food, wine list, creativity of chef - impeccable! Beach - excellent secluded gem. The only minus is long ride from and to airport. Next time will try helicopter ride. Definitely will be back!!! Highly recommend!

We have stayed at Cap Maison a couple of weeks in June and couldn’t have had better time. The place is 10 minute drive from Rodney Bay, the closest shopping area. It’s on top of a mountain therefore has the most beautiful views. Hidden location is perfect to just rest and relax. Coming from London we needed some quiet time for ourselves. The resort has a small private beach with clean water and it’s never overcrowded - another great hideaway place.
Staff was super friendly, they were looking after us everywhere we went, by the main pool, asking if need any help, bringing complementary mineral water. I must say that we have tried loads of restaurants around the island but The Cliff must be the best. Lunch is served either by the pool, in the main restaurant or on the beach. My favourite was fresh grill on the beach. Every day there was a different choice of fresh caught seafood or meat served with salad. Dinner on the other hand was a mind blowing experience. Restaurant provides fine dining carefully prepared dishes with life entertainment 3 times a week. On Saturday we had tapas based menu and it was divine (3 starters, 3 mains and 3 deserts) small portions so you can enjoy a little bit of everything. Living in London, I thought I have best restaurants here but coming back from Cap Maison I have quickly changed my mind. Food over there has so much to offer, fresh fish, meat, fruits, seasoning… delicious. Drinks and cocktails.. another amazing experience. I am simply in love in this place and can’t wait to go back.
Be prepared for mosquitos!
