“BROWN PAPER PIZZA. Great Italian restaurant for family and fun dining in a lovely old building.”

This place is not a pizzeria. It is a great small Italian restaurant putting effort into the food and everything else. Eat here. Enjoy every second. It is wonderful and genuinely good Italian food. A small menu but all of it lovely. Great pizza, as it happens too.

Could not be more family friendly for a 5pm sitting. I hope it thrives and shows why small is beautiful.

Now renamed BROWN PAPER PIZZAS with new proprietors and a new attitude. These people know what they are doing and obviously care about running a friendly establishment in a lovely old building. Presenting a small Italian style menu cooked in a pizza oven, or also tasty pasta dishes. Choices are limited but this ensures that they are all brought to the table using fresh quality ingredients with no microwave rubbish. Desserts include ice cream, chocolate cake, pannacotta etc. We visited on a Saturday lunchtime and thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Cant agree with the other review. This place is great, ...great food ....good cheese...,pizza and pasta fantastic. I eat at Ask a lot with my children and it gives them a run for their money....... Reclaimed and Recycled interior that is stunning and fresh, with a great atmospheric feel. The staff let you feel relaxed so you can enjoy your meal even if your youngest hurls a glass at them !!! Lesley the Chef is such a nice person and is happy to talk with you as you watch her cook. Nothing is any bother. I have been to the George next door and the experience there was great, now i am loving 1760 ! All this is good as we are relocating to the village and these 2 places and the corner shop have convinced me its going to be a great move. Wedmore Rocks !

The dough was rock hard and burnt, the tomato sauce bland beyond belief, cheese was tasteless. Terrible experience, definitely not going there again. However the ambience was nice and welcoming although the food really let it down. No taste, a definite miss.
