Clean, comfortable and quiet. Mike was a great host. Breakfast was delicious
and the setting was idyllic. We were in easy driving distance to nearby sights but isolated from tourists & traffic. The room was good sized, clean & very comfortable. Would definitely go back. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: The king room had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on, EVER!

We had a lovely Easter weekend staying at hillview farm. I booked it after reading all the fab reviews on tripadvisor and it lived up to expectations. (The only disappointment was that it appears that everybody else visiting were greeted by home made cake.....except us - gutted as this was one of the personal touches that drew me to stay there!)
Anyway we had the family room and it was huge - plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 children. Very comfortable, clean and well appointed, with a good selection of DVD's.
The bathroom was absolutely huge and spotlessly clean.
Breakfast was really good and we were asked what we would like every morning. They catered really well for my fussy 4 year old and we were greeted Easter morning with creme eggs, which the boys loved)
I would thoroughly recommend this as a family break - perfect for Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and the seaside..... think I might need to come back for the cake!

Incidentally my Dad came too and had the small double room which was equally lovely and perfect for him!

Room Tip: Family room was realy spacious

Arrived to a warm welcome and home-made cake. Room was lovely, light airy and beautifully appointed. On learning that Keith farms cattle in New Zealand Mike was kind enough to show us around his stock and farm, we were very impressed. He also booked us into a nearby restaurant that served a marvellous meal, and gave us very accurate directions. Breakfast was the most comprehensive we have ever had on a long history of B & B'ing. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

My wife, daughter and I arrived late on the Saturday evening, due to work commitments and were greeted with a warm welcome and a cup of tea.
We hadn't eaten but Mike (proprietor) suggested a local pub. He even phoned ahead, to ensure they were still serving food and to expect us.
The farm house is of a very high standard - clean and spacious, and is located in an ideal spot, close to Cheddar and Western-Super-mare.
All tastes of our group were catered for at breakfast and was cooked and severed to perfection.
Locally produced jams and honey offered ....yum
The chocolate on mothers day was a lovely touch and appreciated.
Will definitely be returning and recommending to family and friends!

We spend one night with my parents and 2 children. Really warm welcome from the owners (great coffee and walnut cake) immaculate place and comfortable bedrooms. we felt more like we were visiting friends than going to an unknown place.
We've been serve a nice breakfast in the morning and even payed a visit to the cows which was greatly appreciated by the kids.

I would highly recommend it for a break in the countryside still with plenty to do in the surrounding area.

We arrived quite late on the Friday due to traffic escaping London but was warmly met by a friend of the B&B owners who booked us in and showed us to our room. Spacious, spotless and very typical of what you would expect from a Farm B&B in Somerset, there is nothing open close to the B&B in the late evening so bring a bottle of wine if you plan on arriving late!

Lots to do in the area if you like proper pubs and walking in the amazing countryside, this place is not in Wedmore like we thought but a smaller place called Ashton about a 15min drive outside of Wedmore very pretty and very quiet. I would not recommend staying here if you are looking to go to Wells for the evening and get a cab (as it cost us £25 each way), but if you are happy to drive everywhere then it is ideal.

Great place to stay, good breakfast, relaxed surroundings.
