“Very nice”

We dined at Cin Cin in October. The restaurant is always very busy, so book early if you can. The food was very nice my husband had fish soup and loved it. We told the waiter that it was our last night in Barbados and they gave us a special dessert with "Bon Voyage" written on the side of the plate, which was a lovely touch.

Worth a visit if you are in the area. Good food, great wine, great setting. One to be included in our list of pre-booked restaurants when we next go to Barbados.

“Overrated restaurant”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

This restaurant came well recommended, but what a disappointment. The meet and greet was sadly lacking, the service was lame and the food to say the least was very disappointing. The drinks also did not live up t o expectation. A Caribbean island with no coconut water? This is a no-no. Being a Caribbean native, this was really disappointing and the food was way overpriced

My partner and I visited this restaurant after deciding to visit on our last night instead of the infamous cliff. The valet parking on arrival is a lovely touch and the entrance into the restaurant is just breath-taking especially the lighted glass baubles.

We were shown to our table which was very romantic, sat in the corner very private and overlooking the balcony. The view was beautiful. The balcony is spacious and you can have a private conversation without the next table over hearing. Every detail is perfect, even down to the gorgeous cutlery.

There is a good choice on the menu for both food and wine. I had their tenderloin steak medium rare (cooked perfectly) and chocolate mousse which was to die for. We also chose a bottle of Merlot which was served chilled.

The service was impeccable, our Waiter 'William' was lovely and attentive.

I have two pieces of feedback for the restaurant;
1.Please ensure you offer tap water as a water choice. We weren't offered any and therefore chose to have bottled as we didn't think tap water was available. A short time later the table next to us we're offered tap water.
2. I am aware that red wine should be served chilled, however I am a lover of having my red wine, especially Merlot, served warm. Maybe a choice could be offered to the Customer.

These two pieces of feedback did not spoil our meal in anyway.

'Cin Cin' - very impressive, definitely worth a visit over the Cliff!!

Thank you for a wonderful experience . .

“Reservation Mix Up”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

In mid October I made reservations at Cin Cin for a birthday dinner. When we arrived for our dinner we were told that the restaurant was closed for a private function. We informed them that we also had reservations for that night which were made the previous week from our home in Canada. They informed us the they were sorry and took our names and said they would get back to us to sort this out. The young lady who spoke to us said that she was sorry and wished my wife a happy birthday? The restaurant had mistakenly entered our reservation for the previous evening.
We then went to the Cliff and explained that normally we would make a reservation before coming but there was a reservation mix up at Cin Cin and asked if they would be able to accomodate us. This was no problem. We were shown to an excellent table and were treated once again to an amazing meal at the Cliff. The service and food were as usual superb. We will continue to go return to the Cliff as they have consistently provided not only superb food but excellent client service.
We did not hear back from Cin Cin while we were in Barbados and still have not heard back from Cin Cin.
