We booked the Blenheim suite, through Secret Escapes. It cost £276/ for one night including Dinner & Breakfast. It was my wife's 50th. birthday treat & we wanted to sample something different. The suite whilst compact was roomy in two levels with a small reception on the ground floor. The bedroom upstairs had a four poster Queen Anne bed, which was very luxurious & comfortable. There were two bathrooms, one with a large bath only & the other was a shower cubicle, a toilet & a sink. The Jacuzzi in the big bath did not function The shower had no place to perch a soap or shower gel. The room had a tea & coffee maker, With Clipper tea bags. This place has only 6 rooms, including the Blenheim suite.

For Dinner & Breakfast , We had to walk 20metres across a courtyard to the dining area, which was quite austere. There was no bar. The starter of King Prawn Tempura was good, as also the main, cod goujons & chips. The Dessert was forgettable. The Breakfast was excellent with locally sourced Bacon, Sausage & Jam, With Earl Grey Tea & colombian Coffee.

All in all, a nice place to get lost, but a bit pricey considering the lack of sophistication.

I booked a one night stay as a suprise for my fiances birthday, and after having a fantastic stay I can see us becoming regular visitors.

Frasers is located in the picturesque village of Egerton, and on route to the Farm we got a little lost, a simple case of the man thinking he knows better than the Sat Nav, so we stopped at the local Village Shop who were happy to give us directions and wish us a pleasant stay.

Upon arriving we were greeted by Lisa (owner) and Jo (manager), who were both such a breath of fresh air, they both had beaming smiles on their faces and couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome.

Jo showed us to our room, the Blenheim suite, which was just beautiful. The room was tastefully decorated with the perfect combination of luxury and warmth. After getting settled we took the advantage of having a walk before dinner, where we could stop and admire the countryside in the autumn, with the horses in the fields, keeping snug in thier winter coats. There was no traffic to be heard, just the wind through the tress, and your footsteps on the ground. Heaven.

We arrived for dinner around 8pm in the evening, and sat on the sofas in the converted barn, to have a few pre dinner drinks. The barn looked wonderful in the evening, intimate and warm, keeping the chill from the outside at bay. The waitress was very attentive and ensured we had the very best evening possible, so refreshing to see such happy staff. Our dinner was amazing! We had the scallops to start and the rabbit for our main. Every bite was delicious, I didnt leave a morsel, and although I was full to the brim, I couldnt miss out on the dessert, a plum and apple crumble.

We then waddled back to our room, with a very happy belly and had a great nights sleep.

The hot breakfast the next moning, was a perfect way to the end the stay. Sending us home, relaxed and contented.

Now the fiance and I are just waiting for the next opportuntiy we have to head back!

Room Tip: Have a look on the website, lots of pictures of the rooms to help you decide. Also give Frasers a ca...

Booked as a surprise for my wife. We had done a lot of travelling this year I so wanted somewhere different/special nearer to home without having to worry about getting to an airport, booking parking etc and came across Frasers on the internet.
I had agreed a combined rate for room, dinner & breakfast and was hoping I had made the correct decision about this guest house (my wife was never than keen on guest houses). I shouldn't have worried.
On arrival we were told that we had been upgraded without any additional cost to the Blenheim Suite which was a pleasant surprise, the rate for this room was much more than room I had originally booked. What a lovely suite, decorated tastefully with a four posted bed, shower room and custom made bath in it's own separate room. Plenty of tea and coffee also provided in the room.
Dinner was excellent, although we had the dining room to ourselves most of the time, we never felt rushed, the same can also be said of breakfast, good service and hot food without any long waiting periods between courses.
I would not hesitate in recommending Frasers for a relaxing and peaceful short break.
My wife really enjoyed our stay, so thanks again Lisa and the team for making our Ruby Anniversary special.

We stayed there with friends for one night in November. Lisa and her staff were charming. We stayed in Sandringham which is a walk to the dining room, not so pleasant in the rain and in the dark walking through puddles (make sure you take wellingtons). We had pre ordered light lunch on arrival which was very pleasant although two tables put together for 4 people meant there was some distance from each couple and we had to raise our voices to be heard! Dinner in the evening was very nice although my 6oz rib eye steak was very small and thin and despite reiterating I like my meat medium to rare arrived well cooked. The puds were delicious, top marks there. The service was lovely with Lisa's daughter Eleanor serving us, and 10 x other people so she was very busy and it was one hour from starter to main course, which was fine but perhaps a little too long for a pre ordered meal.

Accommodation - Sandringham is housed in a row of three rooms with connecting doors our friends were very kindly up-graded to the suite next door but as we all started to un pack we realised we could hear each other conversations, drawers opening and closing etc as a result of which they chose to go for the original booked room Russet which is a shorted walk to the dining room.

This is not a working farm, which was disappointing, we saw two rather sad horses in a very wet and muddy field. If the weather is not good you are really confined to your room - there are no other reception areas to visit other than the dining area, which we didnt realise when making the booking.

Needless to say the rooms were lovely and the beds really comfortable, lots of tea and coffee and a little slice of lemon drizzle cake on trays in the room and a little thermos of milk which kept it fresh for the morning. The bathroom was lovely and cosy but unfortunately there was no bath mat, toothbrush glasses and the light above the sink did not work - but these things happen and did not deter was the quality and thought that has gone into the rooms.

We will not be staying there again but I am sure it is lovely in the summer months and we were very impressed with everyone working there and wish them every success in the future.

Room Tip: I would recommend staying in Russet which is much closer to the dining area if the weather is inclem...

We booked this through Secret Escapes, looking for a night away with peace and quiet - we were not disappointed!
We had the Laxton suite and this included dinner. The dinner was very nice but nothing spectacular, pleasant enough though. The breakfast was nice. Really liked our room and the only downside was the noise from the upstairs neighbours as you can hear every movement through the ceiling.
Beautiful location and lovely people. Remember to bring your satnav!

I booked the Blenheim suite at Frasers though Secret Escapes for my wife's 50th birthday as a surprise. The venue is located in beautiful rural Kent and the suite i booked is set in an old Oast house and comes with a 4 poster bed, very large bathroom (shame the jacuzzi doesn't work) and spacious lounge area. BUT the bit that made it so special was the staff. Jo - the manager- was awesome, sorting all those little extras that made the experience a very memorable one; flowers, fantastic food and a lovely decorated birthday dessert that the chef did for my wife, Fantastic and a big thank you from a very happy husband who has scored lots & lots of Brownie points!!!
