We went to our first Gympie music muster and were lucky enough to stay at Amamoor Homestead. Carol & Ken were great as were the views and the accommodation. Our only regret was that we didn't have more time to spend at the Homestead due to our muster commitments. However it is a great base and would happily stay there again. Very highly recommended.

We had an absolutely lovely time staying at Amamoor Homestead, and would definitely stay there again. The cottage was very nice and quite well-appointed, and the scenery was exquisite. The customer service was exceptional. We look forward to returning.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully located property. The cottages are great and the cauldron fire-pit out the front was perfect for keeping warm with a glass of vino on chilly winter nights and cooking marshmallows for the kids. The property is well groomed and has a large dam where the kids can feed the resident fish and ducks. Ken and Carol (property owners) encourage the kids to collect fresh eggs from the chickens and keep them for breakfast the next day. There's also plenty to do around the region; rain forest walks, horse riding at Mary Valley Adventure Trails (highly recommended) and a shirt drive into Kandanga to the cafe where the food, coffee and milkshakes were superb. It is also a good idea to drive up to Gympie and visit the historical centre and Gold Mining Museum.
We are very keen to return again for another stay at Amamoor Homestead and recommend this as a great family holiday in the country.

We couldn't stop taking photos before we even entered the gate. It is a beautiful landscape maintained carefully by this lovely couple. The house is new looking w bit character. We enjoyed the sunset view in the farm n sparkle fire under the full moon. The homemade four course meal was really satisfying. There is a little hill at back which is worth to climb before the breakfast. The owners r attentive n caring. We made good choice for our 2yrs anniversary weekend!

Carol and Ken are so welcoming and opened up their home to us which is so beautiful. They made us feel very comfortable and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed 2 nights (and wanted to stay more) in the Amamoor room within the homestead. All in all, food was yummy!! homestead was gorgeous, Carol and Ken a total delight and the spa so very relaxing :) Views from the verandah over the valley just made any troubles melt away..We will definitely be heading back to this little piece of pure bliss!

Ken and Carol were fantastic, the property was outstanding and we were made to feel like we were part of the family. Nothing was too hard and we will be back for sure. Thanks for the great steaks Ken! I'll be back for more :)

The owners could not have been more welcoming and accomodating. The chalets were clean and had great views over the valley. A bonus was the bonfire lit for us and marshmellows provided after a delightful 4 course meal on the Homestead verandah.
To be noted was the nearby Kandange pub which had great meals and lovely country atmosphere and service. They provided a courtesy bus back to our B&B then our host returned us next morning to pick up the hire car. We had so much fun and highly recommend this B&B.
