Wow villa Lavender is absolutely amazing and offers spectacular views, my family and friends spent two perfect, relaxing weeks here in October this year. The Villa has just about every amenity you could wish for and nothing was too much trouble for Ahmet and his team, from booking restaurants, taxi,s and even a private BBQ for our birthday celebrations.
The views and especially the thunderstorm were spectacular! Will definitely go back

“Holiday of a lifetime!”
Reviewed August 18, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We stayed at Villa Lavender this July. We were immediately blown away by the space, cleanliness, helpfulness of staff and the whole villa to be honest! We would return in a heartbeat and had the time of our lives. Nothing was too much trouble from booking us a boat or a restaurant or picking up shopping from the local town. You MUST stay here.

“WOW!! An amazing property in mountain location.”

We stayed in June at this beautiful villa in the clear air of the mountains of Islamlar. What an amazing house, very well equipped, extremely comfortable beds, swimming pool outside your bedroom, the most comfortable sun beds, heaven! We visited Kalkan where there are many restaurants, shops etc, a very pretty town just a short drive away. Further up in the mountains we visted several restaurants where we enjoyed delicious meals and were collected from the villa and taken home again, what service! Missing it already, can't wait to return!

“SIMPLY AMAZING!”

We stayed at Villa Lavender for 1 week in June 14.
I can honestly say this is the most amazing property we have ever stayed in. The views are simply stunning.
Ahmet the site manager was always on hand to help with anything, from arranging for bread etc to be delivered to the villa or booking restaurant tables for you.
The property itself is furnished to a very high standard, and tastefully decorated.
We enjoyed every single moment of our stay. We visited Kalkan harbour several times enjoying amazing food and very nice cocktails!
The local restaurants are equally as nice and great for more traditional Turkish foods.
The one down side to our holiday that it wasn't long enough! We will be going again...but for 2 weeks!
Cannot recommend highly enough!
The Gilkes Family :-)

“Wow - amazing villa & very relaxing”

We were fortunate enough to stay at Villa Lavender at Kalkan Mountain Villas in October 2013. The weather was beautiful and still shorts & T shirt temperature even at the end of the season.
The villa is exceedingly spacious and beautifully and tastefully furnished with absolutely everything we needed. The views of the mountains and Patara Beach are simply breath-taking.
The infinity pool is wonderfully inviting and the loungers and poolside eating areas give a choice of relaxing or eating in the sun or the shade.
The caretaker Ahmed is wonderfully attentive and happily booked our restaurants, taxis and even our day trip on a traditional boat trip around the beautifully rugged local coastline.
The mountain restaurants are rustic and quaint with fantastic local homemade food and the harbourside restaurants serve great food at very reasonable prices. If you are looking for a totally relaxing holiday in a superb location then you can’t go wrong with Villa Lavender. AAAAA******

“Beautiful Villa”
Reviewed November 17, 2013 for a stay in October 2013

Stayed at this villa with friends in October what can I say but "WOW" an absolutely amazing place extremely spacious and luxurious everything you could want for a totally relaxing holiday, beautiful sunsets with spectacular views over to Patara Beach ... and the lovely Ahmet was always on hand to help out with any questions we had about the surrounding area, booking boat trips etc. There are lots of restaurants to try in the mountains or you can drive to Kalkan town which is about a 15 minute drive away and what a gorgeous little town and harbour with many restaurants on the harbour or in the town itself. There are lots of things to do here but quite honestly if you want a totally relaxing holiday you don't need to leave the villa why would you its stunning.

“A little bit of paradise”
Reviewed August 23, 2013 for a stay in June 2013

I don’t often take the time to write a review on Trip Advisor but on this occasion, the wonderful memories afforded by our stay at Villa Lavender, left me with little or no choice in the matter.
Six of us made the journey to take up residence at the Villa and after a delayed flight we arrived rather travel weary. However, all thoughts of fatigue disappear as soon as the key opens the door of what, from the outside, appears to be a rather up market bungalow.
In front of you, Marble floors and two-storey windows boasting views of the plains of Patara and Patara Beach in the distance take the breath away and give both the property and that first moment, the elusive ‘wow’ factor that stays in the memory long after the holiday is over.
The property is arranged over three floors and is extremely well appointed with top notch fixtures and fittings but it also feels comfortable and homely, inviting you to while away the time chatting, reading, eating, swimming, dozing and just, well, chilling out really.
After a while and with only a slight suspension of disbelief, it’s not that difficult to imagine that this really is ‘your’ Villa, a feeling that makes it that much harder to leave when the holiday is finally over.
The website and other reviews can tell you (and rightly so) about the great mountain restaurants to visit nearby, the classy cafes and bijou shops in Kalkan and Kas, the excellent beach at Patara and the welcoming, friendly and helpful Turkish people themselves.
For myself, the abiding memory is of my regular visit to the Turkish barber down in the town.
Where else can you get an expert shave with a cutthroat razor, face moisturised and lotioned, ears/nose and eyebrows trimmed with (amongst other implements) a flaming swizzle stick , a head, shoulder, arm and finger massage and a free (non alcoholic) beverage of your choice; all for the princely sum of £3.00!
For that experience alone, I’d make a point of coming back!
At the end of the day, a great holiday is a shared holiday and this Villa, in this place, gave us a holiday experience that we’ll talk about for years to come. I have no hesitation in giving it my heartiest recommendation.
