Loved this hotel. Very clean and modern. The view was fabulous over the vineyards. It is a very small town but close to many other cute towns in the area. Excellent location to drive or bike from. We would go back! Hopefully soon!

Stayed here for two nights as a base for exploring this wonderfull part of France. Wonderfull setting with a nice pool on the edge of a vineyard. Nice hosts, small inhouse shop with local products and a good breakfast. I guess they have some 7 rooms, which are nicely decorated, comfortable beds and coffee & tea making facilities in the room. We had a very nice room with a great view (named Rugiens Hautes). One minor detail. The bathroom was well equiped with a shower in the bath. However, the bath is made for midgets only and the shower could not be attached to the wall)
All in all a very nice place indeed for your stay in Pommard. They do not have a restaurant on site, but when I'll be back in Pommard I'll definately eat in restaurant Aupres du Clocher every night!

I stayed here with my husband in June for one night. We really enjoyed our stay here and also the village of Pommard. Our room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The owners have managed to create a very relaxing atmosphere.

Pommard is an excellent base for exploring the region and we definitely hope to return to this village and the hotel on a future trip. Next time we hope to stay for longer.

We had a very nice stay at Clos du Colombier. The hotel is situated in a small town minutes away from Beaune and fairly centrally located for touring the Burgundy wine country. The room was well appointed and clean. The owners were very friendly and helpful and gave us several good restaurant and activity suggestions. Pommard itself is quite small but everything is very convenient by car. Breakfast was excellent. We would definitely return here when in Burgundy.

Prior to our most recent visit to France I spent a good deal of effort researching where to stay for a three day weekend in Burgundy. My requirements were fairly straight forward...a traditional style inn near a village with shops and restaurants and a view of the vineyards. One would think that such a spot would be a dime a dozen in Burgundy. Alas, my final requirement was that it be somewhat affordable. The Clos du Colombier turned out to be everything that I'd hoped to find in Burgundy. It's actually in the lovely village of Pommard, which is a very short drive into the charming small city of Beaune. The inn was renovated and is run by an affable English speaking French couple who reside there with their very helpful and well mannored children. The rooms were immaculate and the view of the surrounding vineyard covered hills was postcard beautiful. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby wineries and very convenient for trying some great little restaurants. The fact that the rate didn't break the bank was also greatly appreciated after a week in Paris's Sixteenth. We would have been perfectly happy to have stayed for another three days had we had the time.
