Description: The Brewers Arms menu is quite extensive and we try to cater for most tastes, from vegetarian to fish and meat and although we have lunch items the whole menu is available all the time during kitchen hours. We source our main ingredients locally where possible and almost all our dishes are homemade. The portions are very generous which makes gives the customer excellent value for money. Our Sunday roast has become legendary in the area which has resulted in the need to book in advance or be disappointed. The pub is open fromm 12.00 midday -11.00pm every day. Our opening times for food are 12.00 midday - 3.00pm and 6.00pm - 9.00pm Mon - Sat12.00 midday - 5.00pm Sunday, last orders for food 4.30pm

Great meal. Slow cooked lamb is a winner and I defy anyone to finish the steak, scampi and prawns. Best option in Brightlingsea !

I would like to thank all the reviewers that have posted reviews on trip adviser. We try to maintain high standards in all we do and are very proud of the fact that we are, at present, no.1 in Brightlingsea. We instil courtesy into our staff.
All our staff, but especially the waitress mentioned in some of the reviews, would like to thank you all for your kind words.
We hope that we can continue to please but are very aware that that can change in an instant.

“Excellent!”
Reviewed September 11, 2013 via mobile

I have eaten here several time whilst visiting family. We have eaten as a family, as a couple and with just adults. The food is amazing. The portions are huge! There is a massive choice too and I've never been told they have run out of anything. The prices are very reasonable for a pub but you get a restaurant feel in the small restaurant area. They are short on staff but cope well. Excellent value, excellent food!

“Good service nice food”
Reviewed August 9, 2013

Very good service on a very busy lunchtime. Food cooked to a good standard and plenty of it. The outside looks like it needs a bit of TLC but don't be put off as well worth a visit.
