The place is very rustic, there's a homely atmosphere, we were greeted with a warm welcome. The restaurant is reacheable by car as it is in the high part of Camerota, but even id you don't have a car, I recomend you take a taxi there, because the food is to die for. Being Italian we're quite picky when it comes to judging good food: We can honestly say this is the best place we've eaten at during this trip. There's no menu, the owner's son suggested he bring us a bit of everything, and we went ahead and trusted him. It wasn't a dinner, it was a banquet: fresh cheese, freshly made pizza with the best dough, calzoni, quiches, local hams, salami. Then two kinds of pastas: lasagna with zucchini and sausages, and scialatielli with tomatoe sauce and vegetables: divine. They continued to bring food.... Sausages, chicken, sheep and roasted potatoes. As if we hadn't eaten enough, they even brought us a sort of donut with cinnamon. We had lovely red wine and water.... All this, for the ridiculous price of € 20 per person! You cannot visit Camerota and not go here! Be sure to have a light lunch the day you go...!!
