This will now be the 3rd time we've stayed here and each time we're are amazed a the warm and friendly welcolme from Nicky. The well stocked fridge is a great addition, especially if you don't want a cooked breakfast every morning. The facilities are great and the rooms and gardens are kept very clean and tidy. The village of Redmile is a short walk away and has two very nice pubs, we have eaten in both and can highly recommeded them for lunch and evening meals. We'll definately go back here and next time will book in for a massage.

My husband and I stayed at Peacock Farm for just one night and wished we could have stayed longer. From the time we booked, as quite short notice, Sharon was so helpful, even asking in advance what milk and drinks we would like in the room fridge. The farmhouse is a charming traditional house, in peaceful countryside on the edge of the village. The bedrooms are recently converted out-buildings and are beautifully and tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. The beds are comfortable with soft white cottton sheets and the bathroom is contemporary and fitted with every convenience. Complimentary toiletries, fruit, drinks, tea, coffee and biscuits are all provided in the room.
The breakfast was one of the best we'd ever had; fresh fruit salad and a huge range of cereals to start with, followed a full cooked English breakfast, with local sausages and bacon, plus homemade bread, marmalade and jams too.
Highly recommended and excellent value.

Room Tip: Only three rooms, all nice.

We arrived from a long journey later than expected and in the rain, however upon entering we were met with a warm welcome by Vicky and were immediately put at our ease. When the website says well stocked fridge it means well stocked including double choc chip cookies in the room.

Nicky went over and above the call of duty and we would like to say a big thank you for the kindness she showed to my mother-in-law and also allowing us to use the conservatory for a little family gathering. I would definitely stay there again and hopefully this time get to have a massage that you can also book.

We stayed here for 5 nights and had such a lovely time. The owners were very welcoming to us and very flexible with arrival time. Had a well stocked fridge with homemade bread, cereal, cheese, ham, juice etc and with kitchen table area in our room it made it really easy for our little boy. We were offered cooked breakfast on most mornings but to be honest it was nice not to have this everyday. On arrival they gave us a choice of 2 rooms, which was nice and considerate. Our 2 year old son loved it there, he often played on the trampoline or swings and slide and loved looking at the sheep next door. We took our bikes and went out for a ride to local villages - roads very quiet. The location is lovely and peaceful, just outside the village of Redmile. On wet days, grantham offers indoor play centres and a cinema which was useful. Would highly recommend for families, no feeling that we had to keep quiet or were on any time schedule at all - lovely!

What a fabulous treat! After many years of staying at 5 star hotels and B&B's around the world I can honestly say I have never felt so sorry to leave!. Nikki and her family welcome you into their home giving you everything expected from a country retreat and more! What a cosy and spotlessly clean hideaway.
If you are visiting this part of the world I can highly recommend staying at The Paddock..

We stayed here with 2 young children and it was perfect. Within the comfortable family room was a fold-away kitchen area, which allowed us to cater as we required. This was stocked with all you could want for a great breakfast, or a breakfast could be cooked for you if you wished. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.

What a good start to our 4 night stay , with a very warm welcome from Nicky and a pot of tea with homemade fruit cake whilst sitting on the patio.
The rooms that my family and I had were very good, providing self catering facilities, so, we all felt that we had the best of both worlds, as breakfast was done by Nicky, whilst we had the chance to do our own things as well. Superb.
WHEN BOOKING MAKE SURE YOU BOOK THE RIGHT PLACE. i.e. THE PADDOCK AT PEACOCK FARM (01949 842475)as there is more than one Peacock in Redmile, and I can only say how very good this place was.
The location of this accomodation is also very tranquil as it is in The Vale of Belvoir and not in Grantham, as the address might suggest.
