Friends who live in The Villages took us here. I ordered a Mixed Seafood platter that had 2 huge pieces of fish, Scallops, Shrimp and Clam Strips plus French Fries and Shoestring Onion Rings. The food was very good. The portion was huge and I ate less then half of it and took the rest home.

We decided to eat here because of the gorgeous view of lake Sumter. We sat outside on the raised deck. For an appetizer we split the Lobster Claws, 4 in total ($15) Good but didn’t taste like they were fresh, maybe cooked the day before. Also they didn’t have lobster picks , so getting the tiny claws out we’re impossible. For our entree we both ordered the Salmon salad small ($9) The mood Chef greens were crunchy and sweet, the salad dressing was very tasty, the Salmon was good, but again it seemed like it was cooked earlier and then warmed up. Our waitress brought us some cornbread to go with our salads, that was the best tasting cornbread I have ever had!
Very nice and helpful waitstaff. Over all we will be going back. Very relaxing scene

We had a drink on the patio in the middle of a rainy afternoon. The view is lovely and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. There was a long line up to be seated every time we passed. We were fortunate to see the local gator. We would definitely return.

We went twice over a couple of weeks. The first time, we were pleased with our choices, a chicken sandwich with pesto, and a unique grilled cheese. The 2nd time, intending to order the same things, the menu had changed and both items were no longer available. We were disappointed in our 2nd choices...didn't arrive piping hot as before, including the battered fries. If not for the fact that we have money left on a gift card, we'd probably not return. This place has usually been packed, but the last two times it has not been...perhaps this is a good indicator. Also, the place is very noisy.
