“Lunch with family”
Reviewed July 6, 2014 via mobile

Very pretty restaurant with colorful decor. I was quiet satisfied with the tender pot roast over a bed of mashed potatoes. The vegetables were ok, however they appeared to be steamed which I believe is better for you as the vitamins are preserved. Service was a little slow but ok. Pricing was a tad high but reasonable considering the atmosphere as six of us ate lunch for $90.00. I would definitely return in the future.

“This Dug-out Canoe Best Left Unlaunched”
Reviewed June 28, 2014

Despite a most interesting and varied menu, a burger and a steak and cheese were selected for lunch. Burger ample with coarsely ground flavorful beef and a side of tasty fries. Steak and cheese was one of the most poorly executed sandwiches ever witnessed. The three ounces or less of shredded unseasoned greasy beef was warmed with a few julienne sweet pepper and onion slices topped with a rubbery partially melted glob of mozzarella. This all perched on top of a partially dug-out canoe of a doughy stale torpedo roll intended to fool the diner to make the small portion of beef appear generous. Michele, the energetic and attentive server performed a timely check-back. When she saw the craft that should not have floated out of the kitchen, the disturbing excuse for a sandwich, she whisked it away and enthusiastically recommended the haddock sandwich. What a difference! Generous thick portions of perfectly cooked moist fish on an over-sized kaiser roll. Michele was so very right in her recommendation! Delicious!
A young man who did not introduce himself, yet appeared to behave like a manager, came to the table to report that the steak and cheese sub was a new menu item and he would talk with the kitchen about it. Perhaps the problem was not the poorly executed dug-out canoe disaster. The problem more was to present such a disappointment in a venue with such other stellar selections. That canoe is best left unlaunched and forever dry-docked.

“Beach theme was the draw”
Reviewed May 28, 2014 via mobile

I don't live very far from here and figured the theme of beach drew me in. The bartenders are very good however the wait staff and food are ordinary. To be called a country club you would expect better quality of food. Like i said atmosphere is appealing all the rest so-so

“Great place, great food.”
Reviewed May 24, 2014

Thinking going to a Club we would be so underdressed, we were so surprised to get there and it was so casual. The servings were huge and the atmosphere was GREAT. Loved the sunny colors and the servers.
