We were on our way back from Sumter Landing and decided to try this place out for a late lunch, atmosphere is classic country
Clubish, but nice nonetheless. We were promptly seated, and greeted by waitress. Menu is simple, with some flare for the daring amongst us. Went with a cheeseburger and wife had the Caesar salad w chicken . Everything was prepared nicely and served together. All in all a nice place for a Gulick bite or for an evening out with friends or family. Try it, you’ll like it!

It's been a long time since we've been here. Went back with friends and celebrate a birthday. Wife had the filet Oscar which was almost fork "cutable," The beans and asparagus were good as well. I had the bone in wood grilled pork chop. It was excellent. I'd have this again.

The ambiance of Palmer is wonderful. It really is the "country club" experience in The Villages. For this experience you should expect to pay more and have an interesting menu. You do have.

Service was excellent. A great place for a special occasion.

More of an adult place but is kid friendly. Expensive but worth it. One of the most excellent adult eatery with great drinks, excellent menus and the best staff in The Villages.

Had lunch on a Monday, 2 couples. Seating in the bar is preferred, with nice view of the golf course, yet quiet enough for conversation. this is a country-club setting. I had a "Black & Blue" burger, covered with broiler-melted gorgonzola on a fresh bun w/tomato, lettuce and onion. I chose the house-made chips, still warm from the fryer. Cooked medium, it was one of the best burgers, anywhere. She had today's special of a grilled Chicken Panini on ciabatta with bacon, cheese and a tangy sauce, and chose the interesting coleslaw, which I even liked (and I hate coleslaw). Our dining partners had cups of the luscious Lobster Bisque and split a large house luncheon salad, served in a hollowed bread bowl. For the two of us, with soft drinks and before T&T, cost was $32.00, and well worth it. Service by Emma was quick, pleasant and funny.
