“Good that we visited but they obviously have to improve”

We really liked the organization of the event.
Good food and drinks were abundant.
Good costumes, scenery and horses also we liked.

If you can choose the seats, choose the lower ranks they are further away from the air conditioner. Bring a jacket, even if it is very warm outside.

“A night to remember...........”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2013

At the end of a one week amazing trip to an extraordinary island, I was looking forward to this show as it was the last night in Malta. What a disaster. I didn't know what I was expecting, but it was definitely not what I got.

On arrival at the venue, I was so impressed with the beautiful venue which then led me to believe I was in for a night of amazing entertainment. Oh how I was misled.

On arriival at our seats, there were jugs in front of us which contained various flat drinks. Wine which must have been the cheapest available, coke that had no fizz and a few other undrinkable subtances. The food was a disaster, although I have to admit they where great at taking into account various food allegies. But what was the use if the food was not pallatable.

The 2 and a half hour show which was supposed to be the highlight of the night was 2 hours too long. The amateurish troupe tried to keep everybody entertained, but by half way though the show, a number of the seats had been vacated, the chatter from the audience grew louder as only a few people seemed to be watching. It was difficult to hear the storyteller even though I was sitting less than 2 metres from her at most times, especially when she had to read through her lines, as the sound quality from the PA system was poor. The random canterIng of the horses across the arena, repetitive gun shot blasts and a bit of amateurish ballet dancing really didn't work for me. I tried to remain entertained till the very end but was not sucessful.

I guess for 48euros, you could not expect a proper dinner, a good quality show and tranportation to and from your hotel.

“Extravanganza??????? Couldnt be further from the truth”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2013

I went to this event in July 2013 as part of a wonderful 30th year school reunion trip to this beautiful island.
The only thing extravagant about this night were the costumes.
The show was amateurish, repetitive, needlessly loud and very badly produced. Whilst the "knighting" of the patrons was meant to provide an interactive feel, it ended up forcing reluctant people out of their narrow seats and lost its impact in the process. There was some inappropriate so-so random ballet dancing in the midst of mediocre folk dancing.
The narrator was inaudible over the noise and when it was quiet, the accent and sound quality made it impossible to understand her. She had a nice singing voice but the singing parts lacked any cohesion with the rest of the show.
The food was cold and truly awful and the wine was of a very poor quality. The coke was flat.
I liked the arena despite the tight seating arrangements which made it difficult for the waiting staff to serve the food in a timely fashion.
The venue was grand and I didnt mind the transfer time from the hotel.
Although at 48 euros, you couldnt really expect high quality entertainment, transport, 3 course meal and drinks all included, I still feel that I would rather have held on to my money.
A very long evening that saw many patrons head outside to the foyer for the 2nd half of the show.
I would definitely give this particular "attraction" a miss unless you like watching horses randomly cantering around an arena for 3 hours straight.

“Entertaining”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2013 via mobile

The venue is amazing, set in a beautiful country estate which is well cared for. The costumes and effects were good. The sound wasn't great, at times it was difficult to hear the narrative. The food and drink was generously served and tasty. The show was entertaining, and not too expensive considering that it included food, drink and the show and that we were collected and dropped off at our hotel

“A good night out”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2013

The venue entrance was impressive and although getting inside took a little time due to the photographing (with a couple of rather handsome Knights), it was worthwhile. The seating is tiered so everyone can see what is going on and the story that is told is well presented. The dancing and singing was good (well done to leading man Justin) and the fire dancers, horses and actors all made the evening go well. Everyone took several parts to keep the story going and the gun flashes added to the storytelling. The Storyteller (Rachel) had a lovely voice and also a good sense of humour, keeping the audience involved at all times. The food was served hot and the wine went down very easily. A good family night out, although not for the very young due to the noise perhaps. There were several countries represented in the audience and all seemed to have a great time. Definitely worth seeing.
