Barbara, Peter and Nathan offered us the warmest welcome at their beautiful B&B. We felt home at once and quickly forgot about the dark rain clouds above our heads. Our daughters, 2.5 and 4.5 years old, not always easy to excite about a B&B stay made new friends of a special kind. Grizzle and Monty, two beautiful and amazing Owls played their part to make the stay a real adventure for our kids too.
We would certainly come back and I always would recommend the Falcon House if you want to explore Herefordshire and surrounding areas.

Fabulous place to stay! Barabara, Peter, and Nathan were wonderful hosts and we look forward to visiting them again. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast was amazing, and the scenery beautiful. It's the perfect place to get away from the rat race of corporate hotels and touristy areas.

We stayed with other members of our family for two nights in this excellent B and B in the beautiful Wye Valley. We had some special needs to cater for a 94 year old aunt staying with us and other arrangements which the owners willingly arranged for us.

The rooms are spacious, quiet, and well equipped with television, coffee and tea making facilities and a modern bathroom and shower. The bedroom furniture is modern and very comfortable.

Cleanliness of all the accommodation is first class.

Breakfast of very high quality fresh ingredients is served in a lovely conservatory .

Apart from the very high standards delivered what really sets this place apart is the friendly owners who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The highlight of my stay was spending time with their son and feeding their Owls.
A stay that I will remember for many a year!

Made to feel so welcome. Rotten weather, and we were in a vintage car. Everything dried for us. Marvellous breakfasts. Tranquil surroundings- an amazing variety of rare breed hens- altogether a great place to stay, Must point out that it is a b. & b. NOT an hotel.

I returned with my mother for our second stay at The Falcon House and we were not disappointed. Barbara and Peter are very friendly and welcoming, the accommodation is spotless and and of a very high standard. The newly refitted en suite shower rooms are lovely. The breakfast eggs are amazing - such bright yellow yolks and freshly laid by the huge variety of chickens roaming freely in the beautiful gardens. We will definitely be back!

Having stayed recently we needed to stop over in Herefordshire again and didn't hesitate to return to the Falcon House.
Barbara & Nathan (and Peter) now have two Owls. There is also a Great Grey living with them on loan from a small breeds farm.
Apparently he was lookig a bit sad when he arrived but he seems fine now. He is one of those owls you see in Harry Potter films(My kids tell me) but he is cute!
Otherwise things are as good as before-food great and lovley big beds-but check out the animals if you have kids.

We have stayed there before and had a great time. We were on our way south so we thought we would spend another night there. Things have got even better! The garden room where breakfast is served is a beautiful oak framed addition with a fantastic stained glass window made by a local artist.
The food was super but the highlight of our stay was the huge variety of chickens they have there. The son of the family is only 14 but he is a mine of information. Now I can take chickens or leave them, but he makes it so interesting I even thought about having a few!
If you are looking for somewhere a bit different in Herefordshire give them a call.
