Have just returned from a very festive break of 1 week , spent at Salcombe retreat, Seascape Lodge Devon
Every thing you could possibly require for your stay provided, lodge was tastefully decorated which made it more cosier.
The Lodge faced out to a wonderful view fields and hills from which also included a sea view.
A Christmas welcome pack awaited us which included chocs cold meat prosseco and a llarge tin of choc biscuits .
The nearest village was Marlboro which consisted of 2 pubs, and a coop with plenty of produce , about 5 mins drive.
Salcombe it’s self is about 10/15 mins drive highly recommend the Victoria for food and atmosphere.
Having never been away for Christmas would highly recommend Seascape lodge .
Cosy high standard loved and looked after.
Stayed here for a week in August with our two grown up children. The lodge is in a quiet rural setting with great views and is very well equipped with everything you need and was meticulously clean. Very spacious with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with enough living space for us all to chill out - even on the one wet day we had. Good location for visiting Plymouth, the Eden Project, Salcombe, Dartmouth and the moors. Sawmill Cove was about a 15min walk and a great little find - a small unbusy beach. Great coastal walks around. The Co-op in Malborough is 5 mins away and has everything you need. Great lodge, great location and booking was easy - would highly recommend.
