“Great food, but why the sad face?”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

We do love this place and have spent many hours many times over a fab bottle of MDC ,just recently though we felt the staff just could not be bothered. They all seemed low and like we were in the way of something going. In fact my husband said he felt like we were treated like uninvited guests-the rest of our table agreed.

“Great sunday roast”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

Well we ve been to the priory many times over the years. It has been amazing, sometimes not so amazing. The reason im writing this review is because it has been amazing everytime weve been of recent. Great food , service and today we had 6 starters 6 mains and a baby plus drinks for £122. Thats pretty good value in a declining market. Even though they were full to burst it was great. Top marks

“Great food as always”
Reviewed February 12, 2013

However I wish they would sort out the drink prices. I do not mind at all paying a fair price for a drink. What I do object to though is paying above average prices for a mediocre wine. But the food really is very good

“Standard of the food slipping”
Reviewed February 7, 2013 via mobile

Have really enjoyed the priory for several years, however the food isn't up the standard of a few years ago. I hope the quality improves soon as going there has been such a pleasure in the past.

“Everything very very good”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

We met friends for an evening meal on a Sunday evening and although the drinks were slightly overpriced the food was very very good.

Staff very efficient and attentive - nothing was too good.

Their lunch time menu is a chief choice menu for £13.00 for two courses
and the evening menu is £17.95

They also have a la carte

Very, very good
