“Try to stay away”

I didn’t expect much from 2-star hotel; however, it was really bad.

The 4th floor room had a nice lake view, but there is no elevator, so I had to climb up twice to carry up my luggage.
The temperatures were scorching but there was no air-condition, not even a fan.
In the evening it was raining, and until I realized that the window has to be closed, the room was flooded. So I was left with a wet bed, and suffocating room.

Sleeping quality is terrible. Mattress is from a thin layer of foam, and is supported by narrow wooden crossbeams, and lying simply hurts you!

There was no drinking water, and they charged 2 PLZ for each 250 ml bottle. This is about $ 2.50 for a litre of water.

WiFi was free and good.

Attached are pictures of the bed!

For two star hotel rooms where very poor i have to say from back in the early 90s. The room walls are all dry line so noise travels along way due to thr design of the hotel "cheep", the beds where cheep and too small Iam only 6" tall. Bathroom was ok.
The hotel lets Very drunk people to stay at will. The main problem was after 20-40mins of banging talking and shouting, 4 rooms down a very drunk man managed to get this door open at 2am. Then you could hear him being sick 3-4 times. We then called reception. As we had a plane to catch at 12am and picked this hotel as it seamed nice and quiet. The woman came up about 5mins latter, she said there where more people to come back to that floor this was at 2am. My GF then fliped her lid and asked for a different room. The lady came offered us a room next door closer to them. We was like "Are you jokeing" ?. My GF then lost her cool at this point and the woman then gave us a room upstairs out the way. Over all iam disapointed in this hotel. Sorry to stay !

This hotel is as close to the lake as you can get! It is really well placed. Elk seemed a pretty quiet place, very relaxing- we had some nice walks and took out a cute boat on the lake...we also had lots of Polish food and beer! It was harder making ourselves understood, as little English is spoken (fair enough!) though the receptionist at the hotel spoke English clearly.

The room was very clean, with a very nice bathroom and views over the lake. The breakfast was a buffet with a good amount on offer.

Enjoy!
