Reviewed December 18, 2012

The Cultural Tour was nice but false. Rosie, Pierre and Antony acted well. Very friendly. No time to explore alone.......

“Informative”
Reviewed May 31, 2012

The 'Things to do' section sums up Labadee, its a lovely private island with its main beauty being the beach and sunbathing but not much else in the way of attractions unless you want to hang from a piece of wire.

The Cultural Tour however gave a good insight into Haiti, the country, the way of life and painted a totally different picture to the one seen in the media.

“Haitian Cultural Tour was awesome”
Reviewed October 24, 2011

We just returned from a trip above the RCL Allure of the Seas. I must confess that when I first learned we were going to Haiti I had visions of the sadness we see on TV in the states. We originally did not think there was much to do in Haiti and figured we would stay at the port. However, while perusing the tours onboard we came aboard the Haitian Cultural Tour. What a find! Hands down this tour was the best part of our port visits. Upon arrival in Labadee we walked a few yards to the meeting point. We then boarded a nice little catamaran which took us on a short trip to another beach area. It was GORGEOUS! The folks on board were awesome. Rosie was our tour guide and she has a smile that just brightens up your day. On the beach there was a beach bar and beach chairs. We were split into two small groups and taken up into the little village area and given a little interactive tour with the locals that were making coffee, cocoa, peanut butter, playing dominoes, making baskets, etc. The beach and the surrounding water is so gorgeous I cannot say. It was so much fun! This tour exceeded our expectations tenfold! We highly recommend it to everyone who makes a stop here.

“A MUST SEE for those visiting Labadee. Best Beach AND SO MUCH more.”
Reviewed February 28, 2011

We just returned from a fun filled, 4 Country Cruise on RCCL's Freedom of the Seas. Western Caribbean. Our favorite port was Labadee, Haiti. What clinched the high rating among MANY wonderful ports was the Haitian Cultural Tour. This tour offers a wonderful, authentic glimpse of Haitian life. Included is an opportunity to purchase crafts from the artist who created them without pressure.
The tour is punctuated with private access to the BEST BEACH in the area (this includes the beaches in the RCCL village). The water is clear, there is a mild slope and the bay offers idyllic caribbean views.
The tour guides, staff and boat captain were friendly , patient and seemed genuinly interested in our comfort and enjoyment. Our kids ages are 13, 11 and 7 and they were happy and entertained for the entire visit. The punch, virgin or spiked is yummy and sealed the deal on a perfect experience.
