“Fantastic holiday cottage would recommend to everyone”
Reviewed April 30, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

My friends and I stayed here for a week in April 2016 can honestly say it has everything you need for a fantastic holiday . It's extremely spacious and comfortable and in a brilliant position in kinmel bay beach is 5 mins walk away great bus routes, buses run every 10 mins . And 2 great pubs within walking distance plus a social club near by . Would highly recommend it to everyone

“EXCELLENT HOLIDAY HOME”
Reviewed August 27, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We have just returned from Peacehaven after a weeks stay. This was our third trip and it was like returning home. The property is situated in ideal location if you are travelling either Rhyl area or Llandudno area. It is minutes from the beach, shops and cycle paths along the seashore and connected bus routes if you wish to leave the car behind. If you require a nightlife there are caravan sites around that have evening clubs for the children and are open to the public, there are also local pubs that serve excellent food and cater for children. We would recommend the new watercentre which has opened at Colwyn Bay near to the old pier if you wish to hire a kayak or body boards for the water. Would recommend this property and would look at booking again soon.

“Perfect home from home, and a great place to stay.”
Reviewed August 12, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

My family and myself had a great stay at Peacehaven, would recommend it to anybody,it was nice, peaceful and cosy, a lovely large back garden, which we all had hours of fun in because weather was unpredictable at times, needless to say the sun was beaming down the day we were going home, but all in all we had a great holiday. The cottage was close to all amenities, and beach a two minute walk away,we found peacehaven also a bright and spacious cottage with a homely feel, the owner andrew kept in touch with us during our stay in case of any problems which there were none,we will certainly return in the future.Thank you Andrew and Adana for letting us stay.

thanks again for our cosy holiday ,everything we needed for us and our teenagers ,plenty of space, extremely clean and comfortable. Travelled the area of North Wales in the day but loved the evenings in the cosy bungalow To snuggle at night. Pleasant weather for time of year even sat in the lovely garden enjoying tea and cakes from local bakers as usual did not want to come home, thanks from all our family for a smashing week.

Stayed at Peacehaven for a week and it was lovely and spacious
had a lovely time with our family
Driveway was a bit tight to get in and out off so did not go out in the car much but everything was in walking distance so that was good
Lovely walking into Rhyl and Kinmel bay
and handy having Asda so near and in walking distance
It was just a shame we went out of season as a lot of places where closed [Drift park, fair ground and theme park] but we enjoyed ourselves

“Better late than never Review”
Reviewed June 22, 2014 for a stay in June 2012

I've spent three stays at Peacehaven with my wife, my sister, her husband who left a review, and my mother who was in her 80s during our stay.
I've only recently joined Tripadvisor which is why review is "late".

The surround seaside resorts are predominantly caravan based, and whilst I have thoroughly enjoyed many caravan stays in and around North Wales, as my age and health play a bigger factor in my holiday decisions, I'm fascinated that wonderful housing accommodation is ignored in favour of long, thin, cramped metal rectangular boxes for similar prices?
From the beautiful, large, landscaped garden with its own pond and frogs, to the apple trees and picnic seating, surrounded and enclosed by a fence for privacy... To the capacious dining room, living room, and roomy, airy bedrooms... Choosing a delightful house over a cramped caravan should be a no-brainer.
With majestic split level stairway to the upper bedrooms and large bathroom, the light and well appointed downstairs boasts a double bedroom ideal for those with mobility issues, as well as a really stylish downstairs bathroom/shower/toilet.
The Tv and hi Fi are a little out of date, but certainly serviceable when required. The kitchen is well appointed too, with plenty of cupboard storage and working kitchen equipment.
It's location is, quite simply, perfect : off the main road by about 20 yards so traffic is no issue, to a short 3 minute walk to a beautiful stretch of sea and sand virtually empty of tourists and litter, mostly used by dog walkers, cyclists, and local residents. Within 5 minutes walk in all directions will find two large pubs serving food, music, and large screen tv for sports....a Loydds Pharmacy, a newsagent, a chip shop, a hardware supermarket, an Asda, and even a tattoo parlour should you wish to adorn your skin with dragons, butterflies, flaming skulls or naked ladies! But ALL of these facilities could be a million miles away when you close the front door to "Peacehaven" to relax, wind down , eat, drink, shower or sleep.
Rest assured, at some point, we will go back for our fourth stay.

Liked best: Location and privacy
Liked least: Lack of modern technology equipment. A decent tv service and broadband, for a little extra per week, would make this place perfect!

You know what they say 'Better late than never'.
Thankyou very much for still keeping 'Peacehaven' in mind 3 years on, during that time we have indeed up-dated the t.v and hi-fi and always listened too and tried to accommodate all 'guests' suggestions.
The garden is really maturing nicely now and still gets lots of great comments in the 'guest-book' its a shame that sometimes its at its best either time of the main 'season'
We hope you will return and enjoy a relaxing holiday in the near future and wish you and the family 'All the best'...Andrew and Edana
