“home style cooking in Koh Samui”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2013

On my last trip to Koh Samui i stayed at Taling Ngam Beach (the quietest part of the island) and ate several meals at Sean Sabai. If you are looking for a relaxed, cosy place to eat with fresh delicious food you should visit. I took a party of ten there to eat and asked for a mix of Italian and Thai dishes and she came up with a perfect menu, even catering for a vegan guest. I also did a cooking lesson with the chef, which was good fun and had great food to eat at the end of the lesson.

“Home style cooking, authentic Thai flavours”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 27, 2013

I had the good chance of stumbling upon the Sean Sabai restaurant whilst staying in a hotel nearby. Tiny and intimate restaurant with only about 5 tables. We were warmly welocmed and sat down and had the impression we were eating at someones house for dinner. The menu has a very good selection both of Thai and Italian (as the owner has lived in Italy before for 12 years).
The prices are very good ranging from about 1 USD to 6 USD for the most expensive!
I had a look in the kitchen, This lady k Noi is quite a chef! She prepares everything to order. She was even peeling carrots and onions to order! She explained to me that she goes to the markets in the morning and cooks what she has bought that day. Like nonna style cooking. Food was fantastic and we loved the atmosphere. The final bill was next to nothing and the owner was friendly. Highly reccomended and I will be back again on my next trip.
