Went on a short trip to Duncannon for a photowalk with a group of friends. I deceided it best to stay a few nightts and make a nice trip out of it.

the organizer of the walk suggested two local places to stay and after searching on hook tourism i came across this wonderful spot. My girlfriend rang to make he enquiry and even when she got off the phone from making the booking she commented on how much she was looking forward to going.

Located in the lovely fishing village of Duncannon this family run hotel is fabulous. Warm, friendly and accommodating. your made to feel like one of the family not just a paying guest.

The rooms are really nice and comfortable but beng honest i spent anytime in the hotel in the bar having a chat ! Otherwise i was out enjoying the surroundings !

Oh and least I forget the breakfast !! I could eat it all day and dont be afraid to ask for a second portion and trust me you will.

Go book it and enjoy !!!

A large group of us recently spent a very enjoyable weekend at this newly refurbished hotel. All the rooms are delightfully furnished and very spacious, and whilst the hotel is quite large, it has a very intimate feel to it.The breakfast and evening meal was well cooked and extremely filling and very competitivly priced.Overall, a lovely place to stay in a very pretty and friendly village.

I have never experienced such a friendly Hotel. Richie and his family really look after you as if you were part of their family. It was a breath of fresh air,sit and relax and just have a chat.
They appreciate your custom and want you to make a return visit.

This hotel is situated overlooking the breathtaking esturary at Duncannon with easy access to the beautiful beach and views out to the Hook lighthouse. The hotel was recently refurbished and was a great base for exploring the area and after an event in Dunbrody abbey. The owners were so so accomodating to all of our needs while we stayed there. Can't reccomend this place enough for a stay in the south east.

Although not very glamourous, this is a welcoming family run hotel in the beautiful seaside village of Duncannon. Probably about a 2 star standard, it is clean and comfortable and good value for the location - some rooms overlooking Waterford Bay. Nice terrace at back of hotel to sit out, weather permitting. Homely bar/lounge serving good coffee and even better Guinness! (In high season, they may have functions/parties (told it's not very frequent) and there could be music heard from your room til around 2am). If you're on a budget you could do worse than to stay here - on the beach in a couple of minutes, literally.

Room Tip: Rooms to rear of hotel overlook bay.

This is a lovely family run hotel located right in the middle of the beautiful village of Duncannon., which is a stones throw from the 1 mile long award winning beach. The spotlessly clean Hotel offers various spacious rooms to cater for all types of parties, and is a fantastic base for visiting all the local sight seeing attractions both around here and even south east Waterford. The food is excellent, and there is regular weekly entertainment provided.

Room Tip: All the back rooms offer a fantastic view of the beautiful Waterford Estuary.
