At a very moderate price (reservation was made 6 month before, true) we had the pleasure to enjoy a modrn, quiet, perfectly locate hotel (on the sea side, 13 km from Chania).
We enjoyed pool, fantastic view, the good nature of owner ,his father, his staff. We made a lot of trips covering half Crete . One reviewer actually described better all that.
I slept on the veranda. Anything we asked was in their reach.
It is not fancy. But it is warm and quiet

This is a beautiful boutique hotel we'll always looking forward to go back. Even though the great sea views, tranquility and spacious clean rooms are top value, the best part of the hotel is the owner, a great example of greek hospitality. Don't forget to drink his father's home-made tsikoudia!

Excellent hotel with really comfy rooms and great views. Really a great place to relax and enjoy the amazing scenery. A bit far from Chania but close to small, charming, villages with lovely beaches and great food. The owners were absolutely brilliant and very friendly.

Excellent, beautiful, clean, quiet hotel! Just about 12 km outside Chania you can find a small piece of Paradise. Almost isolated from the main road in Akrotiri ,neighboring only with two other hotels, these studios are absolutely perfect for those seeking relaxation.
Beautiful clean rooms with small kitchen, fantastic bathroom and above all a breathtaking view! As many people in Chania say the Akrotiri sunset is the second best sunset in Greece after the world famous sunset of Santorini. And i think they are right! From our balcony [room No 19]we had a view of the sea in 180o. In front of the room a beautiful garden then grass then the swimming pool and then the sea! Perfection!!! The problem is that is very difficult to swim in the sea in front of the hotel as it has volcanic rocks. But they are so many beautiful beaches in the vicinity so maybe its not a problem after all. Of course car is a must.
The swimming pool of the hotel is very good [with fresh sea water] but not so big.
In the vicinity someone can find the beautiful beaches of Stavros and Kalathas and a small but so nice beach in front of the Hotel Zorbas close to the Kavos hotel. There you can find a fantastic restaurant called "Thanassis". All along the road to Chania there are nice cheap taverns as "Irini", "Xarama" and others who serve delicious Cretan food in very reasonable prices.
If somebody wants to cook inside the studios, there are many super markets in the villages near the hotel and mini markets in the village of Stavros where the Kavos hotel actually belongs.
All the Chania area is magic. The old city, the Venetian Port, the Gorges, beaches like Falasarna and Elafonisi. The Cretan land is blessed by the Greek Gods. So beautiful seas but so beautiful mountains too. Visit and explore this land and you will be amazed!
I strongly recommend this hotel to all the people who want to add some magic in their life!
