Great place, on probably the cleanest beach in Goa, had a wonderful time there. Excellent rooms and service. The masala cheese omelets are the tastiest I've had and nothing beats breakfast by the pool.
Highly recommended. Nazare is a must visit.

Beleza...by the beach, Goa is one most of the peaceful places to stay in Southern Goa. The resort is pretty close to Colva beach and provides for everything to have a relaxing holiday with family or friends. The staff is friendly and at the same time well-mannered. I have been there twice now and have had an excellent time. Hope to make my third trip soon.

This was a great hotel with a really nice location on the beach. It was about a 40 minute drive from the airport, which is good as some hotels in Goa can take hours to get to. The hotel had good facilities and there was opportunites to go out and explore Goa, however we decided just to lie by the pool. There is an adjourning beach which was stunning with a small number of sunloungers. The good was of a very good quality, and the choice for breakfast was very good. The hotel rooms are located in blocks, with each block having its own living room and kitchen. At first this seemed a bit stange but is good if you want to do a bit of self catering. The rooms were big, very clean and spacious. A very good choice of hotel. I would definately recommend it to others. It was very quiet when we stayed. Most of the time we had the pool to ourselves.

Let me make this review objective as otherwise I write a lot

>> Rooms are good; with AC, LCD (plenty of channels), a good sized bed, nice interiors, a real big bathroom (no bath tub), mini fridge and supplies. (Rooms are more like 4 star hotel rooms) And everything was very clean; no smell of any type at all.

>> Restaurant ambiance was good as well; food taste was above average overall; excellent for a couple of dish and average for some other. Service was top class on day 1; though on day 2 it took them, 15 minutes to take our order. The menu is limited in option though; considering there is no place nearby where you can go out and eat; there menu definitely needs more items.

>> Swimming pool was spacious, very clean; available till 8 in night. You will get beds and towels there in case you do not want to hit the beach. We did not check the Gym.

>> The so called beach shack is anything but a beach shack, it definitely looks good, you can take towels while going to beach (nice service from hotel), There are bathrooms and washrooms(at times with little red frogs :P ) and you can order drinks and food too.

The catch is that the menu is same as restaurant as it will be prepared there and served here; BUT restaurant is far better location to eat than this. Second unlike usual shacks it is away from where you’ll really need it; i.e. near water. But otherwise it is good for other things and I liked it.

About the beach: The name is betalbatim; just before colva. It’s not a private beach; there were very few people there unlike north goa. Very few water activities on beach; that too fixed and higher rate than baga/calangute.

Private entry to beach: This was really nice; the entry to beach is open 24 hrs; we went in night around 10; it was all lit up really well. The guard was there as well. It is perfect for a small romantic getaway in night.

(This does not meant that one should wander in night there though, be secure; always)

Last but IMPORTANT.
JOEL BEACH shack and SEA PRINCES shack: The guys there discriminate a lot among Indians and foreigners and definitely needs a lesson in manners. Food is costly almost 3-4 times than north goa beaches and does not have variety at all. I will avoid such guys at any cost.

It ends here; (And I thought I’ll write less)

Room Tip: All rooms are same, though you may opt for the one with balcony.

We stayed 3 nights at the end of November in this resort. This place delivers on all promises and more. I can't find one negative about this place, but can provide endless list of positives ;-):
- beautifully designed and decorated villas
- spacious rooms
- comfortable beds
- very clean and well serviced property
- cute little beach bar
- reasonable priced food and drinks
- well maintained pool
- well lit path to the beach
- excellent wifi with full resort coverage
- very good service (i am not very demanding person ;-), but they available whenever I need them)
- availability of taxis
- located in great part of Goa (I've been to both north and south Goa)

Room Tip: Very spacious rooms, elegant common areas in villas.

As soon as you enter in the villa, you'll find that its above your expectations & the images on any website.

Amazing property.....Its actual the beach resort (Hardly 100-150 mtrs).... Very Ideal for families (3)... We were 3 families with kids and traveled in first week of Nov..... Very clean Villas and specious rooms ... Ideal if kids are there with you ... If you are three families, nothing in Goa is as best as Beliza. Then the entire villa is yours ... just sit or lay anywhere :) ..... Room contained everything what we imagined... Bathrooms are big enough..... We liked the lounge on first floor most.... Kitchen contains only fridge and Micro-wave.
Other amenities are also notable... i.e. vast pool... kids play area.... and the shack right on the beach...
Cons : Food rates are high & not a value for money.... But as I said that the Micro-waves have been provided in each villa. so you can get outside food if you want. (Micky's restaurant just 300-400 mtrs away is the best)

@ Mr Nelson : Best management by your end & a quick room service.... I suggest need more greenery (Big trees) in surrounding.
Yessss... Definitely a very pleasant stay.... Like to visit again & again....

We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It didn't start off so well as we got a regular prepaid taxi from the airport and had given the hotel address as it is on the website. However, halfway along the taxi driver stated that our hotel was in Colva not Betalbatim (as given on the address) and that we would have to pay extra. This was only 100 rupees so not a problem, but it is disconcerting to have a taxi driver demand more money from you! The hotel is in fact in Colva.
On arrival we were amazed by the layout of the hotel rooms which are set in houses with large kitchens and living areas. The rooms themselves are then separately numbered and located within these houses (with own locks of course). It was quite nice to have these extra areas to relax in.
The rooms (including the bathroom) were large with a good standard of furnishing. We had a problem when our air-conditioning broke on the first night and we returned from dinner to a stifling room. However, we told the guy on the main reception and he got someone out immediately. It took nearly an hour to fix - but they got there eventually so we could have a good night's sleep!
The tv had great reception and lots of channels to choose from.
There isn't a lot to this hotel - as a resort it is very small. However, I think many people go on day trips as we often had the pool area entirely to ourselves during the day. It certainly never felt crowded even though it is small for a beach hotel.
The walkway to, and the beach itself, is very nice - though again very quiet. I was really disappointed that the hotel doesn't have sunbeds and shades on the beach as this would have been lovely.
The restaurant is very good, although I was getting a bit bored of the menu after 3 days - there is no other option without taking a taxi further away though. It is excellent value and the staff are super friendly.
If I had stayed for longer I would have taken advantage of the many trips that can be arranged by the hotel, there was plenty of choice and seemed to be good value.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a very quiet holiday. I was there for 3 nights which was perfect. Any longer and I think I would have preferred a much larger hotel or one that was more centrally located in either Colva or another area of Goa.

Dear Guest

Thank you for your kind review.

Our resort comes under the Betalbatim area. But taxi drivers generally take the route from the main colva promenade as they are unaware of the shorter route through Betalbatim. We will try and put up more markers on the road leading up to Beleza.

We have placed sunbeds at our shack Nazare. We had also ear marked some area just outside our boundary to place these beds but in order to avoid hawkers as well as danger posed by buffalos which could be crossing during the day, we have taken the decision to not put sun beds outside our boundary. We will re-consider the decision for next season.

Your feedback is very valuable to us. Thank you .

Hope to see you at Beleza again soon.
