Lovely relaxing night away.
Everything you could possibly want.
Really enjoyed it. Even the non stop rain overnight did not detract from the experience.
Lovely host too

“A great little getaway”
Reviewed September 28, 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Thank you so much for providing the perfect location for a great little getaway.
Greeted with a warm welcome but also given the privacy for a relaxing mid week break.
The hut was clean and tidy and the breakfast provided certainly sets you up for the morning:)
The only reason why I would not want to recommend this great little place to others is to help ensure that it's free for me when I want to go back for another stay.

Once again thank you for a wonderful stay and look forward to seeing you again :)

Such a relaxing stay, couldn't have asked for anything more.

Everything was there that we needed, lovely facilities, delicious breakfast, the Hut was surrounded with beautiful scenery and it was topped off with the welcoming cozy Hut.

“Unique cosy getaway ”
Reviewed August 23, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

This was easy to book online (we were lucky to get it the night before) Rachel emailed and texted to confirm our booking and where to park.

Arrived and met Rachel (who was friendly and welcoming), arranged breakfast time and after a chat Rachel offered us an IOS map (which was in the Shepherds hut) & suggested a walk.

Neighbour was drumming loudly (which was lovely to start with but) got repetitive. We didn't mind though as we were going out...

The walk was lovely, we did about 5 miles in a loop, found lots of information about The Plague, The Boundary Stone and a myriad of beautiful houses & views...

We returned and made a wonderful fire in our fire pit outside (away from the hut) fairy lights were on which made it so cute... heard lots of unknown animals, and an owl...

When it started raining we enjoyed wine indoors and made another fire (which had kindly been set up for us). The hut was so cosy with radio and games.

Bed was comfy and breakfast was delicious. Shower a very short walk away and was lovely clean and warm.

Would definitely recommend this for couples or good friends to share a lovely evening or longer....

The only thing I'd have liked to have known would be if the tape near the hut was drinkable. I presume it is.

Beautiful village also with lots going on. Everyone we've met has been lovely and helpful.

We also went to the Eyam Hall which was worth a trip.

Thank you for having us Rachel and Hayden. Great place and lovely meeting you

“Best accommodation in the peaks!”
Reviewed August 21, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We had a great time staying at the eyam hut, the location was great and Rachel was so accommodating and friendly. Her attention to detail made our stay so much fun, and the hut it's self is immaculate with a really fun quirky feel. We can't wait to book again! Thanks Rachel!

“Just what we needed”
Reviewed August 21, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

This little hut is a home away from home! We were bought a voucher as a gift and even on a rainy night this was a lovely, warm and cosy space with every detail carefully selected. The breakfast hamper was a nice touch and the fire was easy to light. In the morning we walked from the hut over Sir William Hill and down into Hathersage through the heather - amazing views. Thank you!
