My wife & I were staying at Il Borro and needed to eat somewhere apart from the resort's restaurants. TA reviews suggested this place. A 15 minute drive over the mountain and minor road and we arrived at the tiny, tiny town of Gello Biscardo and its fantastic restaurant. The weather was cool so indoors was the go but during warmer months the outdoor area would be magic. No reservation but we had arrived at opening so we were seated immediately. Very pleasant surrounds, attentive waiter. The food was excellent. Almost like it was cooked for the family. Two large groups arrived and they were well catered for as well. Wine list was a little restricted as you would expect from an out-of-town location but the chosen wine (helped by the waiter) was great. Can't really fault the restaurant for food, location and service. The only problem was the windy narrow road going home in the dark.
