“What a fabulous find!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2013

We found this B&B on the internet, looking for a dog-friendly place near Cumnock. What a gem - location is wonderful, rooms superb, breakfast excellent and the most friendly people to look after you - we had a pot of tea in our room before we'd got the luggage in!
Jennie and Malc have a wonderful place and I would heartily recommend Rigg House, as indeed would our dog!

Room Tip: The views to to front are wonderful.

Jennie & Malc make their guests feel like friends. The amosphere is so relaxing, the rooms generously proportioned, spotlessly clean. The breakfast delicious and enormous!
We forgot to pack a hairdryer, Jennie made sure one was available to us straightaway.
The house is a beautiful old building, with farmland on all sides and stunning views. Overall one of the best value B&B's we have ever stayed in and look forward to going back

This large farmhouse B&B is a delight. It has been up-dated from a very old residence. The rooms are nicely furnished and spacious. Washroom facilities close by. Quiet but accessible. Genuine farm with lambs. Delicious breakfast. Extremely agreeable owners who not only made suggestions about dinner locations, but even made a reservation for us. Large comfortable lounge with reading material, TV etc. Highly recommended.

If you plan a chill out break in Scotland, and your anywhere near Rigg House B & B you will not be disapointed making it your base, Jennie and Malc are fantastic hosts and a lovely couple, nothing was to much trouble. Breakfasts are to die for so make sure you are hungry as they will challange the biggest appetite. The accommodation is very comfortable and spotless, and the B&B is a very warm house with central heating being on all day, and a big log burner in the comfy lounge. Will certainly return, Thanks for a great couple of days.

Just back from a two night stay with friends at this terrific bed and breakfast establishment. Malc made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Accommodation was spotless and there was a lovely cosy lounge heated by a woodburning stove where it felt great to sit back and relax in the company of our friends. Food was superb and portions very large. Would certainly return and recommend to other people. My only request would be could you please put a hairdryer in the room. Thanks for a great short break.

Room Tip: Remember you take a hairdryer as I forgot and there was none in the room. Large family rooms are av...
