Had a surprise evening booked at the Pebble Beach restaurant for 13 wedding anniversary. Lovely setting and a wonderful meal. Service a little flaky at times. Asked twice whether we wanted to order drinks, which we had already ordered. Ordered a glass of Merlot but got a Beaujolis. Ordered one decaff coffee and one normal. When drinks waiter brought the coffees he couldn't remember which was which. Easy mistake I suppose. All in all, beautiful view and great food.

The food is really good, the service is amazing, discreet, efficient . Three courses with wine and coffee £50 a head roughly. If the weather is clear the view is unbeatable situated on the cliff top and you can sit outside. It does need updating though and it doesn't have table cloths which I prefer

We ate here one wet evening in July. We should have been able to see out to sea but the low lying cloud and lashing rain prevented us.
Inside it was warm and cosy and we were greeted by a very cheerful waitress and shown to our seats. All the waiting staff were very attentive.
The food was very good. The stir fry monkfish portion was very large. I had monkfish wrapped in pancetta. This portion wasn't very big but it meant I could fit dessert in. I had blackberry eton mess which came with a blackberry sorbet - delicious. My husband had creme brûlée, again it was good but a shortbread biscuit to accompany it would have added to it.
The one disappointment is the decor and the furniture. It feels very dated which is a shame. With the stunning location and the good food the decor let's it down.

On a fine evening the view from the terrace across the sea to the Needles, and in a westerly direction over towards Poole and Purbeck, is beautiful. However it can be pretty blustery out there! On dark evenings in winter, you can see the light of the Needles lighthouse winking away. The restaurant is spacious but on two levels so it doesn't feel cavernous, and it is not as echoey as many other restaurants. We have been there several times and the food is always top-class and the service excellent; we've had very few disappointments with food or service. There is an extensive and varied menu, fish dishes as speciality, and a menu with specials of the day. In terms of value: Pebble Beach frequently do a 25% off voucher on early-bird reservations between 6.30 and 7.30pm -- get on their email list. Recommended.

Food was very good but not as good as on a previous visit. There were 18 of us and they got confussed when serving. Great atmosphere and views.
