We love going to the Kayak Cafe! The food and drink are always amazing, the view is stunning and the service excellent! If you are staying in Mont Tremblant it is well worth the drive. The kayaking is also a must, a beautiful way to spend the day.

Thank Melissa S

We rented two canoes and paddled downstream approximately 12 km. It was very fun - even though we got rained on. The river is well marked and the Kayak Canoe team were available to meet us, right on time.

We had a very tasty meal when we got back to the restaurant, good service, very friendly.

The vegetarian sandwich - with "coconut bacon" was excellent!

The Kayak Café offers three seating areas: outdoors, under canvas and indoors. Where, on warm days the doors are flung open. We sat under canvas for an evening meal and avoided the cool breezes that come up off the water hitting the clientele sitting out in the open. The service was very pleasant in both French and English. The specials of the day were Mahi Mahi and duck confit which was no loner available. Disappointing as this was, the regular menu offers a varied choice from General Tao chicken to ribs, pizza, steak and braised beef. Vegetarians are catered to as well. The wine list is brief but full of most varieties and country of origins. So, for a place that rents canoes, kayaks and other water craft, the restaurant serves up good food in an informal setting. Very summer like experience. We enjoyed it and it was not overly expensivce

The service was very good. Very nice staff. Location and view were very nice. They allowed us to bring our small dog in on the patio on a hot day.

The food was just okay, but not great. Small portions.

While cycling along Le P’tit Train du Nord, it was nice to come upon such a quaint, pretty setting on the shore of a sparkling river. You have to cycle down quite a steep hill, so I chose to walk my bike because I’m not a very strong cyclist. It was well worth the effort! They have an outdoor patio, which was such a welcome sight. I always prefer to eat outdoors in the summer. The food was superb! They have a large menu and they make their own pizza crust. Everything was very fresh and well prepared, and the service was good. Can’t wait to go back again this year.
