Have been in and around Cowes for years without discovering this lovely restaurant. Now we have!
We were there on a grey weekeday in November for lunch. we had the seafood platter which was excellent value and a was a delicious combination of various types of seafood, including a top class crab bisque.
The restaurant itself is light and airy with sea views over the Solent, and the staff couldn't have been nicer.

Found this delicious and stylish venue by accident - and what a find! Tucked away southwest of Cowes is one of the best restaurants on the IOW. More scandinavian in style, with a variety of freshly prepared, tasty and flavoursome foods on offer - a great view over the water and a stylish clientele too, this place is a find!

The smoked salmon starter was excellent - and both dishes we had (fish of the day , and a chicken breast) were tasty, and generous in portion! A great wine list and excellent service - you can't go wrong eating here!

well done the owners for managing such a stylish place, it made or weekend!

On honeymoon doing a gourmet tour of the Isle of Wight. Day 5 sees us at The Little Gloster for lunch. We both had Lobster Thermidor with Bembridge Crab as a special main course and agreed it was the best we have had. Yet another very special Restaurant on the Island which should now be a destination for Foodies without a doubt. Great location, really friendly staff and wonderful food.

The roast dinners in particular looked better than sny other i e had on the iske of wight. Very good wine list and service with a smile. Can't wait to go back.

This is a splendid restaurant. Enthusiastic young staff, thoughtful menu and wine list, buzzy ambience and excellent cooking. The only shame was that, being nighttime we were unable to show our guests the spectacular Solent view and had to make do with the starry sky! The crab bisque, venison carpaccio, home cured gravad lax, twice baked Gallybagger souffle, and the freshest ever brill, all drew plaudits. The puds were yummy, afogato and creme brulees all round. Can't remember the last time we had such a top class evening on the Island. It's great to see this place going from strength to strength.
