its a general pub life, good indoor size, plenty of outdoor seating, indoor play area and grass area for the kids to play.
It does attract a more average clientele, its relaxed dress code and atmosphere brings out all different kinds of individuals. lots of families here and younger locals with really older male local beverage suppers.
The food is nice enough, id say somewhat over priced myself, near 7pounds for a jacket potato then a drink on top.
If you fancy something more up market and less 'chavvy' then their sister bar just a short walk away THE PIER HOUSE is nicer, outdoor decking and just slightly shys away from the down and outs of other places.
Meanwhile the waterfront is a great location, great outdoor seating, parking and westward ho! is lovely.
