What can I say - we stayed in the Paddocks which was superb. Cream tea was waiting for us on arrival in the fridge and locally made chocolates on the bed. The double jacuzzi bath was lovely and the bath salts supplied was a bonus. Fresh eggs from the chickens was another bonus. We took advantage of the closeness of the Coastal path and took a walk (despite not great weather) into Westward Ho! The weekend was so lovely that we booked to come back even before we left - would recommend it to anyone.

We have just come back from a fantastic week at westward living in dream cottage, I never write reviews but we were so impressed with cottage and the owners, every details was thought and made our holiday very special. We did have doubts as we had not heard of westward ho but the town, tho small has everything you need and a beautiful beach, which is a scenic walk away from the cottage, Very happy will be going again.

Room Tip: Dream cottage has a beautiful view from patio

This is an amazing place to stay. We stayed for 3 nights with our toddler and the cottage we stayed in (star cottage) was perfect. Plenty of space for everyone, really clean and well equipped. We had a beautiful view out of our living area over the country side and it felt brilliantly peaceful. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, even bringing around a ride on toy car for our son to play with in the front garden. He loved seeing the chickens and horses and the playground area was a great additional touch. Would definitely return and recommend to others

The place was a piece of luxury in the countryside! We stayed in the paddocks, would thoroughly recommend. So many little touches made this a 5* stay, down to complementary cream scones, chocolates on arrival (and departure!) and use of all the locally produced goods. Beautiful setting, we adored the jacuzzi bath in the bedroom! Was just beautiful. Everything was lovely, kitchen well equipped enough for me to produce a roast one evening after a day int he tub with some bubbles! So relaxing! Will be back again for sure, it was the perfect romantic break away to spend our anniversary together. Thank you so much for our wonderful experience - other hotels and hospitality aimed businesses should take advice on the customer service and attention to detail from these guys. I could carry on singing their praises all day :)

Room Tip: The paddocks was gorgeous, can thoroughly recommend as a couples getaway.

Outstanding cottages in a quite and peaceful location. 5stars all the way.
Nothing was to much trouble for the owners to organise - special treat for my partner in the "Kave" ... A fish & chips supper under the stars.. Perfect.
The local seaside town is lovely, a great place to escape to for a weekend away without the kids.
Look forward to our next visit soon.

We've just returned from a long weekend staying in Royal Celerity.

I did think twice about writing a review because I selfishly don't want it to become too popular that I can't get booked or the prices go up!

The website doesn't do this place justice, everything is immaculate and the service is second to none. You can tell its a family run business but you don't feel as though you are intruding.

Waking up each morning to see the horses on the hill and Silca and Chuckie in the field opposite was just bliss.

We wanted a weekend to just relax and that's exactly what we did, the walk along the coastal path into Westward Ho! was easy to find and took about 20 minutes allowing for photo stops!

If you're considering booking, just do it! (not when I want to go back though! ; ) )
