We visited Valentine night, yes restaurant was very busy but we were asked if we had booked we had not, because we had just arrived from the UK, so were prepared to have to wait, everytime we go to our apartment we call for a meal always excellant, service very good, staff very friendly, we have never had a bad meal, since it opened. Perhaps they could have had more staff in on the valentines night, but they also tried not to turn other customers away, which they ended up having to do this goes to show how popular this restaurant is.

Four of us went here on a Saturday evening and the place was full. We have been many times before. We were seated and asked what we wanted to drink. We said wiat a bit please. We were then given papadums, you think they are free, but in fact are charged for and again asked about drinks. We sais we wanted to order first. Anyway 2 of us ordered lamb and the others chicken. We then had drinks and waited, and waited after an hour and a half I went to the owner and asked what was going on. He said we have been very busy and I then asked " do you mean you can't cope" He got angry and said anyway we have had a lot of takeaways. To which I replied Does that mean takeaways get priority. He the told me to go back to the table and we would be served soon. The food came about 10 minutes later.

My friend complained about his lamb being too tough to eat and we sent it back. The owner came over with the bil and proceded to shout and abuse us and said he had tasted the lamb and it was edible. He then told us to get out and never come back and when we said we would never come back he shouted loudly and happilly that he never wanted to see us again. We did of course pay the bill for what we had, which was not cheap and left a tip for the service staff who were very apologetic and embarrased.

My wife and I had heard about the Punjabi Palace and were not disappointed. The staff are very friendly and unlike other restaurants you are not pestered to order your meal.Papadoms and various chutney dishes are served to your table at no charge and when we asked for extras there was no charge. The menu is very comprehensive and the set meal we chose has a complementary bottle of house wine.In fact house wine per bottle is 7euros,very reasonable. We cannot fault this restaurant and are going again on 23rdDecember.We have lived in Spain for 10 years and have looked for a good Indian restaurant and can assure anyone that the Punjabi Palace will not disappoint.

I have a Villa in the area, and often take friends to the Punjabi Palace, we are never disappointed the service is great mainly british staff, but they cant do enough for you. The presentation of the food is amazing and very original, the food is outstanding. Its always busy and best to book especially at weekends.
Its frequented by many local Expats, which is quite an endorsement .
I have friends who " profess" to be experts on Indian food who say they have never been to a better Indian restaurant !
