Me and husband stayed at the InterContinental Moorea for 4 nights of our honeymoon before heading to Bora Bora and we had an AMAZING time. The resort was exactly what we were looking for. We stayed in a Beach Bungalow facing the lagoon and since it was set back a little from the water, it felt very private while we were on our deck. We loved snorkeling in the lagoon and saw many exotic fish and even a few stingrays (definitely bring an underwater camera). They also have free kayaks for guests to take out, and stand up paddle boards are available for rental.
We had breakfast included in our package so we took advantage of that, however I do think they would benefit from a little more variety. We ordered room service our first night as we were tired from traveling, and it was great. Then we ate off the resort the rest of the trip, the concierge will make your reservation and the restaurant sends a shuttle to transport you to and from. I highly recommend Mayflower (the lobster ravioli was delicious), La Plantation and Coco D'Isle. We definitely plan to return at some point!More
