What a peaceful and beautiful location. When we first drove through the forest, we totally didn't expect that we would fall in love with this B&B. As soon as we stepped into the house, the view of the pool into the bushes is just breathtaking. It reminded us of our stay in many of the luxurious villas in Bali. Duncan and Gina are such perfect hosts. They instantly made us feel right at home.

Although it is a small B&B, with only three bedrooms, the layout of the rooms are so that everyone has their own privacy and space. The heart of house is right in the middle, where the kitchen, dining area, tv room and swimming pool are located. Since they are all spread out, we didn't feel like there was anyone else there.

Breakfast was amazing and healthy too. The buckwheat pancakes are to die for. I absolutely love the yoghurt drizzled in strawberry jam (first day), then some sort of light ginger flavour (on second day). Forgot to ask the hosts what type or where to buy the ginger flavour.

The room has bi-fold doors and gives us a great aspect of the surroundings from every angle. My indulgent is the bathroom. Loving the indoor/outdoor shower concept.

All in all, the B&B has inspired us in our short three-day stay. I'm already looking forward to returning.

Room Tip: The Gold Room is probably the best room and the quieter of the three rooms (although the whole location is quiet, but it is perhaps more private out of the 3) in the villa. It has an indoor/outdoor shower and a jacuzzi bath outside.

There is not a great deal to say except if you don't stay here you are missing out on one of lives many pleasures. The hosts are very welcoming, knowledgable and interesting people. If you really want to relax this is the perfect place but if you would like a trip into neighbouring Noosa for a bit of action it is just a short drive away.
This place is 5 star in so many ways. We will be back tomorrow if we could. Thank you Gina and Duncan.

Thanks for your high recommendation, we do have a menu here for Thomas Corner and send couples to Noosaville for your divine meals.

This really is an amazing property. We stayed for 2 nights in the Gold Room with indoor/outdoor shower and outdoor spa bath. The furnishings, fittings, as well as the sense of light and space is second to none. The sound of birdsong during the day is beautiful, but it really comes alive at night: the sound of frogs, crickets and assorted wildlife is amazing. You really are a world away from the rat race.

Gina was a great host and cooked us a delicious meal which we ate under the gazebo by the pool - a very romantic setting.

The highlight of our stay was having breakfast whilst kangaroos grazed within a few feet of us. A wonderful experience.

There were only two things we felt that could be improved at Alaya Verde: the spa bath could have been big enough for two and it would be great if they provided fluffy robes/slippers. Apart from this, we enjoyed our stay immensely and would return tomorrow :-)

On a whim my partner and I decided to have a 'treat' stay away and following the rave reviews on Trip Advisor, booked into Alaya Verde. Our expectations were met and more some. Such a beautiful property and you really do feel like you could be in a pavillion in Bali. Duncan and Gina are wonderful hosts (just like the lovely Balinese) and really made the experience special in a way that was very personal and relaxed. There were other guests staying in one of the other pavillions and the great thing about the property is that you would never know. If you are looking for a bit of luxury but in a really relaxed atmosphere then this is definately the treat you want to give yourselves. Thanks Duncan for the beautiful breakfast and great insight into your journey. We hope to see you again!

Room Tip: If you are looking for a splurge then definately go the gold room!
