Owner description: Our adventure at Delamere Forest is simply stunning. It's not far from Chester and you'll get to take in the beautiful scenery around Blakemere Lake (and its wildlife). The classic and original Go Ape Tree Top Adventure experience. We'll brief you for safety before you fly down our zip-wires, leap off our Tarzan Swing and tackle our crossings whilst enjoying some of Britain's most breathtaking scenery. Life's so much more fun when you're jumping off a tree-top platform into a cargo net. And the adventure does not need to stop there. You can get off the beaten track and enjoy our latest forest adventure with Go Ape Forest Segway - an epic experience with a down to earth twist. And Delamere Forest is also home to our Tree Top Junior Adventure for Mini Tarzans. Release your little monkeys onto a Go Ape course designed for them. No one loves adventure more than kids!

“Great family fun”
Reviewed September 10, 2013

Took my 12 year old daughter along to Go Ape during the school holidays. Very impressed.....yes the great weather on the day, no doubt helped, but even do I would definitely recommend. Good value for money, friendly professional staff. High up, you get some great views of the waterland/forest. We both had loads of fun and left with a positive vibe

“Swinging from the trees in the rain”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

This was part of a stag do, so you have to imagine a dozen 30/40 year olds trying to reenact their youth by swinging from trees, with impending rain over our heads. It was great fun, everyone got into the spirit and whaled down the speeding zip-lines and swung freely into the nets 50ft up in the trees. You get to go around 5 different courses and it takes about 1-2 hours depending on how many are on the courses at the same time. The first one can be discounted, as it's only to get used to the concept, (always be attached). It started raining half way through, so this spiced things up as the wood bridges got slippery. The course culminates with a half mile zip-line where you can't even see the end, so you're basically clipping on and sliding to oblivion, but it does up the adrenaline levels. Lots of fun, but be prepared for the rain and crashing into wood chippings on your landings.

We segway-ed through the forest and it was a great time- we did not zip line due to availability, but it look like that would have been a blast for the family

“Well worth a go!”
Reviewed July 30, 2013 via mobile

Four of us girls completed Go Ape this afternoon, park at the cafe and its only a 5 minute walk. Took us two hours - quite physical but not as bad as we thought! Staff were v friendly and helpful and the course is great, the zip wires are the best part and well worth the climbs! Be brave and go for it :)
