I visited on a Saturday afternoon with a couple of girlfriends, and as the weather was initially pleasant we decided to sit in the garden. Not long after our food arrived, it started to rain so we moved inside. As we sat down, we were told the restaurant was fully booked later and could we move into the bar.As this was only 4.30pm, the restaurant was empty, so it seemed a bit silly that we were being asked to not just move tables, but out of the restaurant entirely, even though we had food. There are hardly any tables in the bar, so the only one left was a small table, which 3 of us had to balance 3 large plates on, with one of us sat on a stool, to finish our food, so not an ideal way to eat. When we left at 6pm, our plates hadn't even been cleared. As a previous review says, has the potential to be a really lovely pub, but a bit more effort would have gone a long way.
