We stayed for a week late September, And we had a most relaxing time.
Check in was very speedy and after a bit of a walk we finally found our room 960
As it was late at night we could not appreciate the view from the balcony until the morning, but when we did it was fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable.
We rented a fridge for 30euros which in my opinion was money well spent.
The hotel was clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
The pool area always clean and tidy and temperature of the water was perfect.
When not out and about we spent most days down by the lagoon. the sea was warm and crystal clear and I enjoyed some of the best snorkelling ever.
My only problem with the lagoon area was that by 8am in the morning virtually all the sun beds had been covered with peoples towels prior to them going of to breakfast etc. Some of the reserved beds were not used until about 3pm in the afternoon meaning many other people had to go with out sun beds.
The Beach bar had a good selection of drinks and decently priced.
Breakfast was ok, good hot selection, nice coffee, Some of the bread was a little hard and the fruit juices (if you can call them that) were un drinkable. but there was enough food available to set you up for the day.
There are plenty of restaurants within 10 minute walk of the hotel.
highly recommended. are The Monkfish, Marrakesh and the Doria restaurants.
The bus to Paphos or Coral bay runs about 15 minutes and costs 1.50 for one journey or 5 euro for a day ticket.
Three decently stocked supermarkets were all again within a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
Overall we had a fantastic holiday and will most definitely return.
Thank you

First and foremost we would like to thank the staff for the amazing time @ the Cynthiana Beach Hotel.. Irini for her email communications and helping to sort out Cynthia's room on arrival. Irene at front desk for her help and warm reception and answering all our questions. Andreas at the restaurant for his ever cheerful and humouros conversations. Rosen for the quick and professional service in the Bar (Needs to practice his table tennis and pool skills :-) !!!) A BIG shout out to Cristos for his charming mannerisms and his love of the local cats which we are all cat lovers and amazing to see someone equally committed to their welfare. The 2 girls i am sorry we didnt catch your names but who organised all the activities amazing young ladies. Nicos in the beach bar always smiling and service impeccable. Thank you to all the other staff members not named.
And finally the GM Andreas, Apologies from Cynthia for drowning you with champagne at the returners party.
This was our second visit and we had additional family members who joined us due to our excitement of returning. We were not let down withe the service or the amenities of the hotel. A fabulous relaxing time on an extended 2nd visit. We have already booked our 3rd visit for Sept 2020 and look forward to seeing you all, as this has again been an amazing time. Again thank you all for your hospitality.

Room tip: All rooms have balconies but book a sea view room which the views are breath taking

It is a rather big hotel that includes 4 buildings. Our room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The buffet breakfast was quite decent. The beach seemed rather small for the number of tourists. Not everyone could have a sun longer right on the beach. Many of them were slightly further away from the sea, or around the pools. One would not feel hungry at the property as there are enough points to get a snack or something more substantial. The hotel works with big tour operators and quite often tourist buses take and bring tourists. Still it is very quiet. We were not very happy though that the hotel did not provide beach towels, but that is their policy. One can get a tea maker and a safe for extra charge. Unfortunately I failed to find the massage service though I had planned to. Out is SPA services I saw a sauna and a small indoor pool. May be I just was unlucky or did not really want it. Mind that many rooms especially on the first floor do not have a sea view. There are 3 nice restaurants within 150 meters from the place. The center of Paphos is 15 minutes by car. One can easily get to many interesting places in the area. I believe for a 3 stars hotel it is a very good place.

Dear guests of the Cynthiana Beach Hotel. Thank you for choosing to spend your recent holiday with us.
Happy to read your review and rest assured we will do anything possible to correct all little details. Please bear in mind that the SPA services are rendered out to an individual, and even though they are on the hotel premises, we really do not have to do anything with them.

Thanks again and I hope I have the pleasure of welcoming you back again in the future.

Yours sincerely

This year's return visit to Cynthiana Beach was excellent as ever. Nothing but praise for all of the staff who obviously enjoy working in such a friendly environment, service is second to none. Stayed in a suite with a sea view. We have already booked for 2020, can't wait!
