We decided to commence our night with a cocktails . I had one titled Dragon something - it was delicious. We then chose the $55 per head banquet - interesting food - plenty of it - very tasty and attentive staff. The dessert - a chocolate filled bun with raspberry sauce - delicious. We also ended our night with more cocktails that we made up by the bar man - terrific. Apart from the 1 hour waiting for a cab - but it was high season I suppose - the night could not be faulted . We will be back.

Embassy XO at Sunshine Beach just south of Noosa National Park is a regular haunt when on hols. Always a delightful, bustling room high above a boutique village with views through glass shutters to pandanas trees and the beach, its casual oriental style belies its polished service staff and excellent cuisine. This time I hit the busy Christmas/New Year break, and XO had extended a usual ' weekends only ' yum cha menu to a full week. Fabulous array of DIm Sum - as good as China Town Sydney with more bang. Kimchi and pork dumplings, Duck dumplings,, crumbed fish, cripsy prawns and always favourite, Special fried rice. New fave was wok greens with oyster sauce. Too laid back to try chicken feet.. .. A grand way to wile away New's Day! Looking forward to Easter offerings.

Thoroughly enjoyed a Sunday night meal here. Being the holiday season, the restaurant was very busy but the service and the food were still very, very good. The banquets are great value and let you taste more of the menu, which you'll definitely want to do. Its fairly pricey but well worth a treat if you are in the area. Book in advance during the holiday periods.

A wonderful meal with friends. We opted for the seafood banquet/set menu and were not disappointed. Beautifully crafted food with simple fresh flavours. The Kim Chi was a little spicy for some! Fabulous service and friendly staff. Only negative was we were not allowed to take home our left over steamed chocolate buns! Embassy XO certainly worth a visit.
