Whoa! This restaurant has it all….wonderful location, excellent food, attentive service and very high prices! They do not take reservations so when we got there they told us we could be seated 40 minutes later. So we went to Mission Hills Winery and when we returned we still had to wait another 15 minutes for a table outside. It was a wonderful setting overlooking the vineyard and the lake beyond that. Emmanuelle was our lovely waitress and we ordered a bottle of their Pinot Gris, which was absolutely one of the best we have ever had. They do not sell it in their store because of a limited amount. My husband and I shared the beet salad, good but a very small amount and we also shared the ling cod with spinach entre and truffle oil fries all of which were delicious. Good choice. Our friend had the crab cakes, which he said were very good. All in all, the four of us totally enjoyed our meals and even though it was very expensive, we would definitely return for a special occasion.
