When Sushi Q mysteriously closed and the weeks passed with nothing but an outdated sign on the window saying that they'd reopen mid-March (they didn't) I was concerned that I'd have to keep on truckin' to Ozeki's across the bridge for good sushi. They finally re-opened in late April after almost two months of closure and the place has definitely been freshened up with a new coat of paint and some new fixtures. However, the staff is completely different as the restaurant has been purchased by new owners and they unfortunately did not keep up to the previous high standards. The rolls are unremarkable as they are smaller, thinner, and the nori is much chewier. The rice doesn't seem as well prepared or as properly vinegared as before, and overall, it's dropped a full notch or more. Too bad, as it was a great sushi place... once!
