We stayed three nights at this perfectly situated (a view of the lake!!), decorated, and hosted B&B. With only four rooms, it is like intimate stay with friends and family. The breakfasts are a wonderful leisure start to the day fill with fresh local offerings of juice, fruit, and breads (most baked fresh in the morning). Eggs and meats top off the third course.
Steve was loaded with great ideas of what to do in this gem of a town and we really loved the suggestion of a visit to the "Suspension Bridges". This attraction will soon become the #1 in Kelowna. It features 4 bridges over gorges with great views of the valley and lake - not officially open until next spring. The developers hope to have skiing on artificial (foam based!) snow, a restaurant and a wonderful gift shop (fully stock to browse, but not to buy).
We were fortunate to spend one our three nights with three couples traveling together who requested a "demonstration" dinner cooked in the wonderful kitchen built expressly for this purpose. Steve is chef with an amazing pedigree, and he performs (chops while talking with no lost fingers!) in front a minimum of 8 guests seated around the enormous granite c-shaped counter). The show was great; the meal better!
