We spent two nights here after travelling 3000km around the Rockies and it was just the place to start winding down. Set on a massive lake the views were wonderful. The suite was a very high standard and extremely roomy and comfortable. Dining in the restaurant one evening and both breakfasts we couldnt fault this place. Dinner was a bit slow but they were quite busy and the wait person was very apologetic but did his best to work quickly whilst still providing good customer service. I would certainly recommend this place and return again.

Room Tip: They all appeared nice

We stayed at the Cove this fall with my Parents. Two, 2 bedroom 2 bath suites, Beautiful, comfortable, full kitchen, everything you could need, I would have loved to stay an entire week.

A few things to watch for when booking your rooms.
The place is very spread out with the elevators in the center, so if you are ill or older like my parents, getting a room in a more central area of the complex is a good idea. Down side to that is that the restaurant is also in the center, and at night if there is a noisy group on the patio you wont be getting much sleep.

The restaurant is great, and the Sunday brunch buffet is amazing...be hungry!
There are BBQs if you want to grill your own dinner.
This is a dog friendly property, and there are nice areas to walk.
Quick cab ride to local vineyards for dinner etc. Make sure you go to Quails Gate, have dinner, wander the vineyard with a glass of wine at sunset.

Room Tip: Central rooms are easier to access, but not as quiet.

This is a nice property, we stayed in late August 2012 for a business meeting. We had a 3 bedroom suite, the master bedroon was really nice, but the other two bedrooms were very small. The layout of the rooms was odd, there was stairs going up to an empty loft room? Looks like a condo, which has a dual function as a resort. Probally a great place for family vacations.... The rooms facing the pool and lake are quite a bit more costly than the parking lot facing rooms, which I guess is to be expected for most resorts. We had breakfast catered each day and it was very good, great coffee. The reseraunt served pretty good food, although it seemed a bit costly for the quality. Visited the spa on my stay, my massage wasnt the full hour, but it was good none the less. If you plan to visit the city of Kelowna, be aware that this hotel is about 20 minutes (or more in heavy traffic) to down town. If I was going to go back to a kelowna resort, I would likely choose the manteo or somewhere a bit closer to town.

Room Tip: Lake view is the only way to go, but you will pay extra for this.....

Just spent a week a the Cove for a conference. This is a great facility for large groups to meet, weddings, family reunions etc. Staff are very helpful. There is a full service spa on site, yoga classes, a pool with waterslide and hot tub. The restaurant food was great and welll priced. More than enough food was provided for all our meetings. The rooms contain a large living room with an electric fire place and flat screen tv, dining room and full kitchen with two separate bedrooms (more tv's) and bathrooms. Everything you need to be self-sufficient for a week or two away including in-unit laundry. If you need some exercise, there is a great walk along the beach front that is accessible by wheelchair A lovely nut farm garden walk is nearby. The hotel is quiet. We will be back again.

Room Tip: The upper floors will have a view of the lake. If you need a quiet room ask to be away from the poo...

We were very fortunate to stay at the Cove Lakeside Resort as part of our group tour of the Rocky Mountains.
The resort is adjacent to the lake where you can walk along the lake foreshore to a nice marina and jetty area. The gardens around the resort are very well maintained with lovely swimming pools available for guests.
The units are beautifully maintained with everything you could want. Our unit on the 4th floor had two bedrooms/two bathrooms with a full size kitchen with a lovely lounge and dining area looking out over the lake. A washing machine and dryer was terrific to have for travellers on holidays ‘living out of a suitcase’.
The reception area is quite large with lifts available to all floors. Another added bonus was free WiFi.
We enjoyed our stay immensely and sorry it wasn’t for longer in the lovely Okanagan region.

Upon checking in we had booked several months earlier to assure we were getting a lakeview room. Upon arrival we were dissappointed that we were checked in to a room with a parking lot view. For the amount of money we were spending this was unacceptalbe. We went back to the front desk and they said they could not give us this room until the next night. How dissappointing. It was our honeymoon. Then a room with a lakeview suddenly appeared and we did get into this room. Then we had to move all our stuff out of the other room. They made out like they were doing us a favor for getting us into the room that we origanally booked with no apologies! It would have been nice to have a small token, perhaps a $15 bottle of wine for the mess up that occured but that did not happen. We spent well over $1500 in this resort.
Then there was the resteraunt....I had seen my server there the night before and she could not even force a smile on her face. We went there for dinner the next night and she pretty much argued about the cheese orded which she got wrong. I had to ask her not once but twice. Finally, she brought me the right cheese, with no apoligies for her mix up. I feel that when you are spending a good amount on a nice dinner out you shouldn't have to argue with your server.
The setting at the cove is beautiful I must say, but I felt the value is not worth it.
