The experience was very good and the A/c worked awesome despite the high plus 30 degree temps outside. Room was very large, quite with an awesome play and pool area for the kids. Beds were very comfy and the bedding is clean and super "homelike" as well. The suite we has also had 2 full bathrooms, 2 large flat screen tv's and an excellent selection of superior HD programming. An excellent rest was had by all.

The only negative was that the breakfast bar was very busy and the poor lady that so desperately wanted to go home and enjoy retirement was unable to keep up so we were forced to go 100 steps or so to the Tim Horton's for breakfast.

Room Tip: If you have a family, the king suite with pull out couch is a must. Separate TVs, 2 bathrooms and a...

We chose to stay at this wonderful hotel while attending a family wedding this spring! The rooms were clean, spacious and modern. Our room had a balcony that faced the golf course..exquisite. The complimentary breakfast featured a large selection of food (sausage, eggs, waffles fruit, yogurt, cereals, breads etc) and was fresh and delicious. The Front desk staff was extremely helpful to out of town guests and offered maps and information for wine tours and other entertainment. As it was 30 minutes from the airport, we rented a car to make and enjoy the most of the holiday!

Room Tip: I would suggest a rental car to get around Kelowna/West Kelowna...almost all areas require a cab to...

Just returned from a 2-night stay at this hotel. We have stayed there before a few years ago.Two adults, a 10-year-old and a 15-year old. Best Western central booking messed up and booked us into the B/W in downtown Kelowna, where we certainly did not want to be. We wanted to be in this one because it was close to the family event we were attending. I walked up to the front desk with the "wrong" reservation, explained, and they did their best to accommodate us, pun intended. The hotel was at capacity - due to local wildfires and evacuation notices, many locals were looking for hotel rooms, too. They were allowing people to check out with no penalty, as many did not want to stay because of the fires, so we lucked into a room that had just been vacated. Actually, turns out it was a suite, and they honored the lower room rate. Front desk also took care of notifying their sister property about the mix-up. The room was clean, very spacious and with enough room for a rollaway cot so our two boys didn't have to share the sofa bed.The breakfast in the morning was fine - bacon, eggs, waffles, toast, cereal, milk, fresh fruit, hardboiled eggs, yogurt, coffee, etc. and the staff there did a great job of keeping up supplies, even with a full house. We were there early and our room wasn't ready until 4 pm check-in, but they gave us a swipe card so the kids could use the pool while we waited, and that worked great. Overall, we were very pleased with the service and the hotel (thanks Tina, Damen, Karen, Sydney and team) and given the circumstances of booking mix-up/wildfires, consider we lucked out! We will be back!

Room Tip: One side faces the highway and the mountains (good views of wildfires, in season) and the other side...

We certainly appreciate your comments about your stay with us. West Kelowna is still not as well known as Kelowna, it was a pleasure to show you our area even though we had the Fire here.

We look forward to greeting you again in the near future.

I should have went to another hotel when I went to check in at 12:30pm and was rudely told to come back at 4. My room wasn't ready.
Usually I stay at the Hampton, and when I am early to check in, Hampton offers place to freshen up and store luggage/ call when room ready. This was not my experience. I was simply told to leave.
Came back at 4 pm. Checked in, staff busy and just handed room key. Not very gracious.
Room door extremely hard to open. Finally after 10 mins got door open.
TV DIDN'T WORK.
On business trip with children. Imperative to have TV to keep them occupied.
CALLED 3 X to front desk. Tried directing me to fix. Then sent housekeeping to fix. Then sent maintenance. Finally advised that TV's were not working because switched to digital earlier that week.
Asked to talk to manager- manager advised no TV, nothing could do, would not switch rooms, would not replace TV.
Finally, the room key didn't work- every time we needed to get into our room we had to notify front desk, who would send housekeeping, who would then have to contact maintenance man. We would wait 10 mins until he arrived with an actual key. The kids and I ended up sitting in the hall waiting to get into our rooms. This happened the duration of our stay- no working room key.
It was horrible.
The breakfast was good, but kept running out of food- we ate at 8:30- and food was running out?
Finally at check out, nice front desk staff there all alone. Said very sorry about stay.... First person to acknowledge or care- and it had to be at check out!
In conclusion, extremely unhappy with service and equipment issues- TV & room key. I should have been notified at 12:30pm when I first tried to check in that there was no TV. YES- they knew! Maintenance told me it had been a few days since switch to digital.
I will not stay at Best Western again- not ever!
Save your $$$ and book somewhere else- for a relatively new hotel, this one is a dud.

Yes, it has been a trying weekend as we not only had a full hotel but had staff struggling to stay out of the "Fire" and having a Shaw tower burn down. It is one of the circumstances in life that cannot be changed and you were one of them. Overall our guests were fantastic and took things in stride. We do hope that you will find a hotel in the future that is going to please you

The hotel is actually located in a shopping area with fast food restaurants, a grocery store and share the parking.the good part is it is very convenient, on a main highway.
About 7 mns to bridge to Kelowna.

Hotel itself is nice, room was nice, nothing bad to say except they cannot accommodate me to a high floor and quiet room as requested, which I was not happy because I requested it long time ago, learn my lesson to re confirm ...I was given a room right in front of the elevator, 2 nd floor, so ...
The waterpark has 1 slide, though my kids had a good time, the pool is a normal just with a slide as extra.
Breakfast staffs were excellent, loaded food all the time, with waffles, I think eggs, bagels, toast, fruits ( which is excellent), a standard best western + bf, which meet up to expectation.
Overall, I will stay again and recommend.

Absolutely nothing bad to say. Very very very minor thing about housekeeping that isn't even worth mentioning is only reason didn't give top mark for cleanliness. Restaurants, drugstores etc all nearby. Beach is five minute drive down hill, golf course across the street in rear. Nice and new. Bit pricey though at $200 all in for one night.

Although our stay was only one night it was a pleasure. Our room backed onto the golf course. The hotel was surrounded by a variety of restaurants and our room was clean and comfy. We had also requested a quiet room on the top floor and they met our requests. We would definitely stay there again.
