“Beautiful getaway....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2011

My husband and I stayed in the Panorama Room for one night on a Valentine's Day getaway. The King bed was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the jetted tub and the large ensuite. Mike and Anne were gracious hosts--great conversationalists but unobtrusive. Breakfast was substantial and elegantly served. Coffee, juice, fruit, yogurt, a nice granola/muesli mixed cereal, scrambled eggs on croissant with a side of sauted tomato and yummy raisin toast. Mike drove us down to Quail's Gate for our dinner reservation and we took a cab back to the B&B. A lovely stay....

Breathtaking views of Lake Okanagan & surroundings. Breakfasts were delicious and beautiful to look at; our room was spacious, with a balcony, good lighting, comfortable seating, lovely bed & bath linens, quality glassware and china. Best of all were our hosts Anne & Mike: a delight in all ways; helpful with suggestions for dinning, sightseeing, etc. Great conversationalists, warm, caring & friendly. You could not ask for a better place to stay.

I have stayed with Mike and Anne several times over the years and the reasons are clear. Simply put, they like people and go out of their way to prove it. They grow most breakfast fruit on their property but that's only a small part of the filling gourmet breakfast. I stayed recently for four days and never ate the same thing twice. You can visit with Mike or Anne or be alone. No obligations.
Their B & B is only a stone's throw from some of my favourite wineries, Misson Hill and Quail's Gate. The house is always clean, organized, quiet and modern with a great view of the Okanagan Lake. If it wasn't so cold, I would have eaten on the deck. The room I stayed in had a queen sized bed but I peeked into another room (during cleaning) and saw a nice king size in a room overlooking the lake. This is a shoes-off house and rightfully so. Anne insisted on fresheniing up my room every day even though I said it wasn't necessary. You will be welcomed the minute you step through their door and treated like royalty until you leave. I spent all my day time cycling but there is sufficient furniture and enough room to just hang out in the living room.
Anne's passion for providing breakfast is easily noticed and Mike takes up the slack. This couple will give you a peaceful stay and value for your money. David, Vancouver BC

We stayed here to be close to Mission Hill and Quails Gate wineries, and for some much needed R&R. We could walk to both wineries and had a relaxing time sitting on our king sized bed staring out over Lake Okanagon. Breakfasts were terrific, and Mike & Anne are super friendly "veterans" of the B&B business who know how to make guests feel comfortable.

We found this lovely B&B by a recommendation from the tourist information center in Kelowna. We arrived to a warm welcome from the hosts Mike & Anne. We had a room with a view of Lake Okanonagan, the bed was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent!! The hosts are wonderful people who really enjoy what they do. Great experience, would stay with them again. Thank you so much for the hospitality.

An exceptionally comfortable and beautiful b&b set in the grape vines. We stayed in the Panorama room (highly recomended) which has a private deck with a sensational view over the lake. The breakfasts were something special with a wide range of local fruit, delicious parstries and a superb main course. Hosts Ann and Mike made you feel as if were at home talking to your best friends. I would highly recommend this B&B to any traveller.

My husband and I stayed two nights here during our honeymoon. Anne and Mike are wonderful hosts. Mike drove us down to Quail's Gate our first night there for a dinner reservation, which we appreciated. The neighbourhood is lovely and quiet, and you can walk to Mission Hill Winery from their place. The breakfasts were amazing. A great place all around.
