Triple Creek Ranch B&B
Ranked #1 of 2 New Hazelton B&B and Inns
Reviewed July 4, 2013

On our way to Prince Rupert we stayed two nights at the Triple Creek Ranch. Although we arrived late, the owners welcomed us with open arms and prepared us a home cooked meal which we enjoyed together. The ranch is beautifully located on a mountain hill, with lots of animals, whether kept horses or wild black bears, walking around. Ron offered us an ATV tour on the trails around his house, which we really loved, since the landscape is amazing and Ron is an enthousiastic guide. Breakfast was great on both days. In short: warm and welcoming B&B on beautifull property!

My boyfriend and I stayed one night in August at Triple Creek Ranch B&B en-route to a wedding at Francois Lake. One night was definitely not long enough and we wished we could have stayed longer. Triple Creek Ranch B&B is located on a spectacular acreage with stunning mountain views. The property is impeccably cared for with beautifully, well-manicured lawns and gorgeous flowers. The ranch house is cozy and clean and Ron & Lila Fowler, the owners, are extremely friendly & welcoming hosts. The breakfast was a hearty, home-made breakfast that included pancakes, bacon, toast, a wide variety of cereal, eggs if you preferred, and they even brought out some of their home-canned salmon. So delicious! We enjoyed feeding the horses in the morning --- they come right up onto the front lawn! The ranch is in the perfect location to explore the fascinating ‘Ksan Historical First Nations village & museum in Hazelton. The rate was very reasonable and comparable to other B&Bs in which we stayed on our trip. We can’t wait to return!

Booked this B&B on the way to a meeting. The location is amazing. The house is beautiful.
The room is just a small room. Bed & desk. No TV, no private area to sit. Internet works well.
Bathroom is a bit of a walk from the bedroom and a little awkward as you have to walk through the kitchen. Breakfast was only continental which is not what was advertised. Overall I felt this B&B was over priced for the room and breakfast. The owner also insisted on a photo with their dog, again, awkward. A nice bonus was they washed my car.

Guest feedback is always valued. Thanks for taking the time to post your review. Our apologies for any challenges you encountered during your stay with us. Our rooms are small if comparing to a hotel, but are considered large for a home dwelling. "Have to walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom" is totally inaccurate as building code does not allow this. We always ask and never "insist" about taking guests photos. All of our other reviews accurately describe the plentiful breakfasts we provide. We are always willing to provide our guests with alternatives if they are seeking hotel like accommodations with bathroom, TV, couch, etc, in their private room.
Respectfully,
Ron & Lila
